Granted he didnt specifically say itachi is superior to him but going by his actions, he no doubt means this although we can translate it the way we want it doesnt really matter. The fact that he even before the fight stated that itachi cannot kill him because the jutsu will still continue after he is dead clearly imo is admitting inferiority, although you can translate this any way you want
True he doesnt know that sasuke knows the truth and its due to this that he is trying to get sasuke on his side, but lets not be fooled this is NOT the only reason he wants sasuke on his side. Before when it was 1 vs 1, he said edo tensei will still continue even after his death therefore itachi cannot kill him. Nobody can deny the fact that he wants sasuke on his side because because then his life becomes alot easier.

I do agree that if kabuto had stuck to his original plan he couldve fooled itachi, but he didnt. Also you seem to forget that. Also note that itachi was able to activate a susnao in that situation to protect sasuke.
It was a team effort, but nobody can deny that the crow clone which not even sasuke was aware of is what fooled both him and kabuto. Sasuke being there or not that strategy alone with the clone is what allowed itachi to cut his horn. If you are talking about rage, it seems like it makes it difficult for the user to activate susano therefore its v1 form is a feat on its own and that is enough to protect the user from kabuto's attack. He did after all restrain when he saw susano around sasuke
Nobody said itachi can manipulate the black flames although he has shown proof to make it follow its opponent. Secondly what im telling you is that amaterasu was hailed for its offensive and defensive capabilities and whether the user can control it or not once activated it seemed to overcome kabuto's latest attack

No need to bring edo tensei into this, that isnt what we are talking about. You can argue all you like that its due to plot that kabuto will lose but that isnt true. If we were to take plot away from this the brothers wouldve killed easier. Kabuto has faired well against the brothers and many opponents wouldve lost, but he doesnt deserve the amount of credit you give him because either brothers are stronger than him and will defeat him.
Not sure what this has to do with anything because what you are arguing about is futile. The manga has made it clear itachi's actions. Anyway whether gaara wouldve won or lost ive no idea, because deidora obviously couldnt have used C4 in that scenario because he had to get him alive. Lets say it was an out of manga situation and gaara didnt need to protect the village, but also deidora couldve used c4 or c0, i still believe gaara would lose to c4, unless of course he has a doujutsu or a lightning based attack to neutralise the nano bombs :shrug:

You do realize that what you are creating are mere scenarios? I can create a scenario where Itachi would win but in the end, they will just be scenarios and nothing else. Anyone can create a scenario where their favourite character wins.
What you pointed out did not happen. The paralysis technique only blinds and deafens the opponent, Itachi was able to keep his Susano'o up. 2nd, the attack that just hit Itachi hit him because he protected Sasuke with his Susano'o. Kabuto confirmed this, I am not sure why you don't understand what happened.

Whether kabuto couldve defeated either brothers in an out of manga situation is subjective. I believe he cannot.
Nobody can deny that itachi has anticipated both kabuto's attack and in both cases he protected sasuke instead of himself whilst he left himself vulnerable. Common sense would say if he as anticipated both attacks and activated susano to protect sasuke instead, in 1 vs 1 situation he wouldve used susano on himself.
Whilst sasuke hasnt proven himself enough against kabuto due to his techniques i believe he would also beat kabuto
