Why is tobi not obito..

Stupid thread....... here is the only proof you need to have that shows Tobi isn't Obito. During the fight between "The Masked Man"(Tobi) and the 4th Hokage, Tobi didn't really grasp the whole "the kunai can teleport" trick, that the 4th used. If Tobi didn't know this and Obito has past experience with the 4th, don't you think it would have clicked in Tobi's head that, "hey, maybe I should avoid those."

LOL, yh well maybe obito didn't know he could do it that fast minato did say this is FTG level two

I came here thinking "wow people are still going on about this" but after reading those points I'm rather interested now just a random side note, are you saying obito's name was first introduced at itichi/kisi's intro?

Erm well I thought it was first introduced then, is there a time before that ?

Alright I said I'd make a few points to support you if this thread didn't close, so here they are:

1. Chapter 507 and 510

In Chapter 510 we got the famous image of Konan getting stabbed in the back by Tobi and showing us that Tobi did in fact have two Sharigans:

But what everyone seems to always forget is the fact that in three chapters before 510 in chapter 507, it was confirmed that before the Uchiha massacre, Tobi only had his right eye:

We only see one eye in the panel and then Kisame confirms that Tobi only has one eye by stating "That eye, that shines in the dark." You could say that Tobi had one eye closed, but that would be a ridiculous thing to do if you were introducing yourself to someone for the first time, and it would be a major troll move on Kishi's part. And you could also say that the person in this panel isn't Tobi, but we know that's not true because Kisame confirmed this person was Tobi when he met him again in chapter 404:

2. Rin's disappearance

After Kakashi Gaiden, we never see Rin again. But since we never saw Rin again, it made me wonder. In chapter 503, we get a panel of Kurunei, Asuma, Guy, and Kakashi. But it's only one year after Obito's death and Rin's already disappeared:

That brings up the question, did Obito (or whoever was using his body) do what Sasuke couldn't do at the age of 13 and kill his best friend to unlock MS? It would make sense if Tobi had MS, considering the Uchiha panel says you need it to control the Kyuubi:

3. Shisui

So far all MS users have had a brother that also unlocked MS so that one of them had the ability to unlock EMS. There are six MS users in Naruto, but right now Shisui and Obito aren't related. The two things that make me wonder about this is:

-Mei said that she couldn't help but think the technique Tobi used on the Fourth Mizukage and the technique Danzo used on Mifune are similar:

-So Tobi had the same tech as Danzo, but he still wanted Shisui's eye for some reason:

This makes me believe that Shisui and Obito were brothers, and that whoever is using Obito's body wanted to get EMS from Shisui's right eye

A lot of it's speculation, but the hints are there. This isn't the entire thing though, it's just a few points. So do whatever you want with all of this, just don't forget to cite me if you use it

I dont really see Tobi being Obito however the evidence provided gives good reasoning why it could be. + Rep good read

My opinion is Tobi is more likely a Madara/Zetsu clone as when ever he has gotten hit with an attack he has leaked White or just tore off the arm (which was white)

cleary Tobi is part Zetsu/ clearly Zetsu is able to Clone the rest i will wait for

Yh points are cool the only thing that is abit weird is zetsu replace obito's arms with zetsu, Why just his arms ? I think that the zetsu just infused with most of his body mainly his right side

Yes his body and sharingan being used by a zetsu, which created by madara with his and the 1st dna both in. And with his main goal being to revive madara but instead because still having some of obito's memories came up with the moons eye plan to create peace.. something along those lines..

How do you know how old he is he wore a mask _O- and if you say we have seen his face you didn't read my original post. To save to scroll to the bit where you see 3 pictures of the right side of tobi's face and read that bit

Naruto got tall after 3 years ( a weak point I know but true) And in shippuden tobi's voice is high and he acts like a kid :shrug: tobi ay always deceiving people

yes but he was tricking people and that was naruto after three years and u said yourself tobi is old he kakashi age but kakashi not old and being squished by a boulder gives u worse than wrinkles i think kishi showed the right side as a sign to quit saying hes obito but other than that it all makes sense

Yh but what Im saying is that the rock didn't crush him completely but enough so that he couldn't escape. Which is also why he just got those wrinkle lines because it he was squashed. And can you think of any other reason for kishi not showing his left side
