But he never used Shukaku! There was a whole filler arc about that before the time skip. After the Leaf attack he wanted to prove that he could be strong with out Shukaku! He hadn't bonded with Shukaku like Naruto and Bee have with the eight and nine tails. You can't miss what you never had. Your comparing two different things. And with the speed and the chidori stuff. Yes he could. All he has to do is go into that sand dome, a much bigger, thicker sand dome this time and use the third eye. He could fight at his lesuier in there. And hell yes he is better than he was when fighting Diedara. Which once again shall I reiterate that he only lost so he could save his village! There is plenty of manga proof. Sorry but this is getting out of control. Sasuke EMS should counter BM Naruto...unless they decide to give Sasuke another upgrade. But yea, logically: Sasuke should be on par with Naruto. Naruto is obviously stronger than Gaara in pretty much every aspect.

Now let's use that logic again:

Susanoo : this gives Sasuke a huge advantage. Remember when a weaker susanoo and a much weaker Sasuke forced Kakashi to use Kamui? Of course you do. Now imagine Sasuke at full power and most likely a faster amaterasu arrow.
Tsukyiomi : Who would be expecting Sasuke to use genjutsu? Gaara usually fights focused on the opponent. Look at Gaara vs Sasuke at the summit.
Amaterasu : will use it on susanoo
New tech? EMS should bring something new to the table.

And people tend to reduce uchiha to 3 MS techniques and that's it. EMS is an upgrade now, which would mean Sasuke is faster, has a better eye-sight, perhaps even more chakra. Unless he fights Gaara in the desert, this is Sasuke's fight.

your not understanding the simple fact of lightning>>>earth so you call me a fanboy garra is clearly not beating sasuke your a fanboy if you honestly believe that ill admit it will be a nice fight but garra has no counter for genjutsu and sasuke is a top tier genjutsu user now so garras only option would be the sand dome and kirin will destroy that easily and leave garra dead whenever sasuke and garra fight the 1st thing he does is look at sauskes eyes in their fight in part 1 and in shippuden garra has looked in sasukes eyes trying to tell if there filled with haterd so sasuke whos using all his advantages would take notice of this and get him in a genjutsu and hes already fast enough to get around his sand with simple taijutsu so a fast paced chidori will rip through his absolute defence and kill him i just dont ever see garra winning it would be a very entertaining fight but sasuke takes this sorry bro :scorps: ima sasuke fan yes but when people say garra>sasuke i gotta defend my boii with facts

The 1 tails was constantly trying to take over Gaara, and that's why Gaara couldn't sleep.

He now has his full focus without the 1 tails.

As was said before, Susanoo DOES NOT WORK AGAINST GAARA.... He pulled MADARA ****ing UCHIHA out of his Susanoo....madara is more powerful and more experienced than susuke.

Also, Gaara was able to use his sand at the KAGE summit to block sasukes Amaterasu...so we know that it won't work against Gaara.

Lastly, Gaara has protection from genjutsu thanks to the third eye he can summon.

Gaara wouldnt walk over sasuke, but he has a counter to sasukes most powerful moves, and that includes Susanoo arrows because Gaara can instantly create sand barriers that were strong enough to stop Madaras attacks....

The way he got stronger isnt discussed, but its obvious that he really is. Still i think sasuke take this one and my reason is susanoo's arrow. I think its too much for gaaras sand to handle

Ameratsu= ineffective/garra auto blocks
Tsukuyomi= effective but hard to pull off because of eye contact(garra has third eye)
Susanoo= effective but not impossible because Madera was pulled out by Garra
Karin= innefective because of build up(no longer a problem for sasuke since he can spam ameratsu) needed and garra's wind jitsuHowever Sasuke is much faster, has a wider range of tactics aka ameratsu aerow, has powerful fire jitsu's and has the ability to summon hawks for mobility.

Kirin cannot be countered by wind jutsu due to it being natural lightning, not chakra lightning. if he was able to set up Kirin, Gaara would have to create a large sand barrier to dissipate the energy. That sand would then be turned to glass... which would be pretty cool in all honetsty. Sasuke takes this with mid to high difficulty as he is now.

Gaara cant pull sasuke out of his susanoo without the help of onoki. Gaara did not block Amaterasu from sasuke eye he blocked sasuke enton from his susanoo ribs and yes gaara can be put into a genjutsu

Genjutsu takes 0.00000000001 seconds and that takes ... how long? Let's assume it takes longer and face the fact that Gaara rarely uses it and wouldn't start a fight with that especially now.

By talking to him to death? No. If you're insinuating a support character would be stronger than a main character (yes, Sasuke and Naruto are main because they are equal rivals) then you are more bias than the OP. Good day.

Shikaku, fox cloak, curse mark, were mostly season 1 buffs. Gaara got the kazekage title not for any power shikaku gave him but simply skill. So dont use Shikaku being gone as any advantage, the same could be said about curse mark sasuke.

Second point. his recent interactions against his father and madara show his growth. Lets break this down. Sasuke is Lightning and Fire affinity. Gaara would have no advantage over fire and blaze release other than being able to defend from the fire and get his sand turned to glass, but Amatetseru is easily beaten by gaaras sand, and has been before. gaara has "sand eye" for protection from genjutsu, and most importantly Gaara would have an advantage over what used to be his weakness against sasuke. lightning.
Example. In his fight against the previous mizukage he manipulated gold finally with his sand. This means he could use sand with gold to make any path on conductivity (sence gold is the most conductive element there is) to steer Sasukes Lightning attacks anywhere he wanted, including back at sasuke.

I love gaaras development in this story and his background far more than sasuke. and gaara fanboys are more toleratable than sasuke fanboys. But anyone who says Gaara wouldn't make sasuke sweat and give him a good run is so blindly baised.
