Well, I choose Sasuke because he would be able to see bugs, and he has different Chidori variations too kill bugs. Also, he has different fire style technique that would roast his bugs.He has speed advantage, and taijustu Shino probably wouldn't be able to keep up with him.

i take shino on this ... he has a variation of bugs ... and some that poisin as well as devour chakra .... also him being mid to long range helps .... .... wich leads me 2 this question ... i wonder ... would it be possible for shino to have some chakra devouring bugs that can mirror the effects of shadame (kisames ex sword now killer bee's) ....

I think sasuke would win because he can see the bugs with 3 tomoe sharingan, can use katon and many other techniques, base sasuke is way stronger than shino but if we get to see more from shino I might change my opinion.

He can able to see Bug's Chakra/or just Bugs with his sharingan.
Faster than Shino
in Close Combat Better than Shino
Long range attacks Katon would be easyly destroy bugs.
Bad match up for shino. He can not handle it.

Well, Kakashi believe Sasuke would be resistant too alot of posion because Orochimaru and Sasuke would see the bugs not to mention kill them with Chidori Current aka Chidori Nagashi.

... hmmm true .. but if he has the bugs that toruene had ... then he'd lose ... when sasuke fought dedira he shouldve never let the nano bugs inside his body ... but what about the chakra absorbing ability .... would base sasuke beat base kisame ..? ... we see bee's lighting devoured before it even reaches kisame .. buttttt... this is all speculation ... we are yet to see a true shino battle ... .... and have just to much information about sasuke ... ....
