Minato is actually weaker than a lot of Naruto Characters.

Minato is not considered strong because of flashy (no pun intended) techniques, but because of his skill and intellect. He instead defeats his opponent with strategy and the FTG, and luckily, most people he faces are not immune to having their throat slit He doesn't go flying around destroying buildings and smashing rocks, but it only took him a few panels to make A and Kirabi his b!tches. He's also, to date, the only person to really hurt Tobi without dying or taking damage at that.

Of course, Minato has a great defense against large scale attacks due to his skill with Space Time barriers and such. He also has sealing jutsu. It just goes to show...big explosions and surreal jutsu are not always necessary to be dangerous.

I agree except for the hiruzen bit, its pretty obvious that minato> hiruzen. The manga is pretty much trying to say that hiruzen and the village would been destroyed if it was not for minato on the kyuubi attack night. Hiruzen has not shown any power moves save the reaper death seal and thats minato's move. Altho maybe prime hiruzen did have some awesome jutsus

sure I admit minato can take on thousands of enemies and kill em all in the blink of an eye. But what really matters is how he would go against the other kage rank shinobies and its not looking too good for minato.

No one has complete knowledge of Minato so it's not really debatable. If Kishi gives him an arc later on that would be nice though.

1. You do know that Minato's entire arsenal of attacks we've never sse, right, including Fuuinjutsu. He wasn't regarded as a genius for four jutsu.

2. Minato is very strong. He countered TBB, so he can potentially counter many long-mid range attacks. For Short-range, FTG outta there

3. Its not really fair to compare Minato's Rasengan to the ones we've seen countered since his has always been stronger than the others' base Rasengan.

1. Turning an entire World War around in Konoha's favor. ( A feat only matched by Naruto)

2. Single-handedly taking out battalions of ninjas in an instant.

FTG , and the seal he taught the third so far he created all those moves need i remind you .... along with rasengan .... yes naruto spams it but look at how much damage it does when it connects
