naruto doesn't work that way... hashirama fought madara hundreds of times, fought uchihas hundreds of times, as ancestors of the two sons, they were destined to fight each other....

hiruzen has never fought madara, would have no counters for his move, wouldn't know how he fights nothing...

but why would he beat hashi? because he trained him... he knows his jutus, he knows everything about him and tobirama....

Its just like how today some people actually believe that Jesus Christ lived. But they dont believe he's the son of God or can perform all those miracles. They just think he was a wise man whose deeds have greatly been exaggerated.
