Can they stop Kisame?

Kisame just popped out of a waterfall, and he has escaped to the edge of the river of the Turtle Island, Itachi is still at the waterfall, he has to get to Kisame and stop him from sending a scroll containing information to Akatsuki. Can he get there in time and stop Kisame like Guy did? And also for the following characters:
Minato
Kakashi
Darui
Naruto
Sasuke
Deidara
Sasori
Yamato
Bee
Gaara
Any other characters you think of
Remember the distance from the waterfall to where Kisame was is great enough that Guy had to use eight gates just to get there in time
Kisame can make 1000 sharks to confuse you and he has the Shark techniQue that absorbs other techniques and gets bigger and he has the environmental advantage of being totally surrounded by water
All Kisame has to do is guarantee safe passage for one of his sharks to deliver the message, it doesn't matter if you can beat him but if you can't stop the delivery of the message, its meaningless.

Minato won't make it because he can't just ftg to the edge of the waterfall. I don't know why you put Diedara there. Remember it was Bee who gave gai in gates the boost so really no one on this list can make it there on time except Naruto.

Minato can POSSIBLY reach him with shunshin. and Kakashi might be able to kamui kisame from a distance like he did with deidara.

Naruto can definitely reach him with KM, and bee in his 8-tails mode. Only Naruto can defeat Kisame though. And Deidara would be a good opponent for vs kisame imo, he can reach him with his flying bird and rain down clay bombs from above. and if kisame doesn't have prior knowledge on c1, that could be deadly too, i think earth> water as well.

Unless you think Minato's base speed is faster than guy in gates? Guy in gates even needed help from Killer Bee so really this thread is dum other than to praise NArutos jinchuriki speed.

Agreed, even 8 gates gai got there 'just' in time and that was only because Bee threw him. Without Bee Gai wouldn't have even made it. Makes ya think how fast must have Kisame been travellingxd.

Anyway the only person that could possibly make it is Naruto in KM. I won't even mention if the others can stop Kisame sending the message cos most of them don't make it.

Stop it with Guy using the gates he didn't run there so it wasn't that much of a boost, it helped a little because he could jump further, i don't really see the gates improving his speed here.
Naruto would reach it on foot.
Minato might be able to reach it as well, and if not he can have bee throw him just like he did with Guy and while up in the air throw a Kunai as far as he can or as high as he can, and then teleport there... basically he would get there in 2 moves... the time needed would be the time it takes for the Kunai to reach it's destination... and it's not that big.

minato can catch up to him but so far he hasn't shown a technique to deal with 1000 sharks.

naruto in any mode (SM, KM, BM) can catch up to him and defeat the sharks.

deidara probably (not certainly) can catch up. if he catches up defeating sharks is child's play for him.

sasuke was shown to be a fast shinobi. he has a chance to catch up but unlikely. if he catches up he can deal with the sharks but it would take too much time and kisame would probably get away.

bee can catch up and destroy the sharks. in chakra cloak mode. or v2.

the rest, not likely.

he has a chance (not certainly) to catch up to him. but he didn't show any technique to take care of 1000 sharks so kisame would probably get away
