Traditionally, Intermarrying with other people was a way to foster peace.

If you look at european royalty, the nobles rarely married for love. They married to cement treaties and build familial obligations between nations.

Japan has a similar treatment of nobility.

I would think that is what happened to the Senju. They didn't die out or get murdered off, they just aren't as important to plot line right now because their blood has thinned because they aren't marrying their sisters, and their using their familial ties to foster peace.

I believe some of Anbu's are descendants of Senju. Remember that Tobirama is the founder of ANBU. He must have sent a bunch of Senju's into this organization to protect Konoha from the underground.

Hasihrama's death not known but maybe he fought a couple tailed beasts and got owned.

Maybe the clan slowly mixed with other clans and changed their names, for ezample the senju are reffered to as "the senju of the forest" and intresting enough shikamaru's clan have a special forest they protect.

The huuga clan might play a role here too. Maybe the senju tried to create eye bloodline limit after the uchiha went solo.

All sorts of potenial factors with all sort of unknowns where u can basicly think of any theory u want of what happened.



But we know the senju and huuga clans are barely mentioned in the series yet play a factor as to why the shinobi world became what it is(hasihrama started the village per contry system). Well at least we know the senju are very important. The huuga seem to left out completely.

Theory:

The whirpool country got destroyed and most of the Uzumaki clan got killed few managed to escape and settle in other parts of the naruto world....

My theory is since the Senju and Uzumaki are well buddie clans ect... that most of the Senju clan has go to the whirpool village to defend it together with the Uzumaki.... (i think that konohagakure as a whole did not want to help in that because political decisions), they got slaughtered at that battlefield.

Face it we dont even know who and why attacked the whirpool village we only know it happend when kushina came to konoha and that was around 25-35 years ago maybe even 40 years ago

(counting this as naruto is 16, his mother came to konoha at age of 9-12 yrs old she was around the mid 20 when she gave birth to naruto.)


So im guessing the last of the Senju clan died on that battlefield and few survived (Tsunade, 1st's wife...)

I think we need 2 flashbacks or story arcs about how the Whirpool country and the Uzumaki got destroyed (by who, when and details)

And about the Senju and their mysterious disapearance....

So they are scattered in other clans? If this is true you must mean other clans INSIDE KONOHA b/c I dont know how/why they would ALL leave the Village they created and disperse on purpose. And where in the hell does it say this in the manga...? I don't agree with this.

Ok, I've heard this before and commented on it already. You havent addressed the point I made about this already. The Senju had a FULL CLAN at the creation of Konoha. Even if they intermarried into other clans in Konoha, this would still be evident in the case that certain families would be POWERHOUSES with their chakra capacity... but no other clan has even been seen to hold a candle to what Tsunade and Naruto are able to do. The only exception is the Legendary Sanin, so perhaps there is some truth in this.

Thats a Kekkei Genki (forgive spelling). How do you "create" a Kekkei Genki in the eyes out of nothing...? And I do believe it was stated that the Huuga Clan is the Eldest Clan that exists in Konoha, so I dont know how this is possible.

So... you mean to say AFTER Konoha was created Madara SOLO'd the entire Senju Clan?!? Or even most of them?!? And they would have had the other Clans in Konoha to assist them against Madara... INCLUDING ULCHIHA... and Madara still SOLO'd everyone...? With no Rinnegan?!? WTF?

Tobirama was the founder of ANBU yes... but this means nothing. He was also founder of the Police Force which had 0 Senju in it.

I've never seen ONE ANBU that has been shown to be a Senju, and MANY ANBU members have been revealed. Both Kakashi and Itachi rose up the ranks of ANBU to the top and neither is Senju. IDK about this theory.

It was said that the ANBU Commander was the Hokage, which was not Senju. I wont slap you though lol, maybe they had "another" leader for them specifically. I'll give you that... possibility.

Yes i did.

Would you prefer to see more weak fodder ninja, or would you prefer to see main protagonists and antagonist, and reoccuring side characters?

The Senju, as an actual character/clan isn't important to the plot anymore. They could have built a chakra rocket and travelled to mars, and their significance to the plot at this point is the exact same.

Simply put, they just aren't in a position of prominence at the moment. Maybe they're in the ANBU, maybe they're in other villages as a way of fostering peace. If elemental affinity is anything of an indication of heritage, water and earth jutsu would be a good indication of relation to the Senju.

Did I say entire Senju clan? Did I say he solo'd them? I said he could have used the 9tails to kill a lot of the Senju members. Madara is able to summon the 9tails for his own usage anyway. He could have summoned it for a sneak attack and killed off a sh-t load of Senju before Hashirama challenged him.

Eliminating interference from such a powerful group. It's like wolves. They are hunted and exterminated. The threat is eliminated in the attempt to control their powers. The original masked man was the secretly still-alive Madara. He would have the motive and the power to take them all out, one by one.

IDK but the ANBU commander is a good bet to be one. He's been active since Oro went rogue and up to the present. Long life, still holding an important and active position.

I'd also like to note. Hashirama forms Leaf. 4 kages since then. 4 generations. Except Tobirama was Hashi's brother, so thats not really a generation. But that's balanced out by the fact that the third lived for a while. Not a lot of time for the name Senju, or indeed the powers they possessed to thinned.

One would assume there are still some alive. The best bet is probably in Anbu. Bottom line is no one knows. Kishi may or may not ever reveal it. If he doesn't? Then you hit a state of quantum awareness... You're answer is both correct and incorrect at the same time, as is my answer and every other theory ever hypothesised.
