Come on now bro seriously this may sound fanboyish But most of the answers is ftg.

1. Chibaku Tensei wouldn't catch he'd just teleport to another location. ( You don't think so :shrug

2. Shinra Tensei is the best beat for Deva to go with to repel Minato kunai. (Deva advantage)

3. Banshō Ten'in would be the worst possible thing to do minato would probably chuck mark kunais towards deva and it's pulling some many mark kunais towards you would give (minato the advantage)

First of all, that move is a combined move. He can't pull that off on his own.
plus remember the after-effect, nulled powers and life shortened.
plus minato could easily escape to safety. Minato is smart enough to strategically place his FTG kunai in a reasonable place. Besides, Tsunades's slug could have saved him like she did to a lot of the other ninjas. If naruto can beat all the peins, then im pretty sure minato can too

Well atleast this is a tough match-up... not like the stupid Itachi vs Deva path.. my god people dont get it do they? Itachi rapes not only Deva path but also completely DESTROYED YOUNG AND YOUTHFUL EDO TENSEI NAGATO! i love how people say (kabuto was controlling him) umm FYI kabuto is 10000 times smarter than nagato will ever be. And kabuto controlling him is like the biggest advantage conceivable lol. Anyways minato vs deva.... hmmmm tough one. Since minato only really has rasengan to hit deva with.... if deva does chibaku its over. And minato probably has no knowledge of shinra (sorry i mean most definitely doesnt) so if minato is hit straight in the face with shinra tensei he will probably have every bone in his body broken...... since minato needs to get at melee range to do ANY damage to deva this could prove difficult for minato..... there are 3 possibilities i see here
1-Deva path realizes how strong minato is and does chibaku from the very start (if minato teleports home thats an instance forfeit).
2-Deva path hits minato straight in the face with shinra tensei and breaks every bone in minatos body
3- deva path MISSES one time with shinra tensei... and since minato is a genius deva path is ****ed... since minato will juke him and destroy him with speed.
In the end neither nagato NOR deva path acquire the mobility to fight characters with speeds such as Itachi and Minato. Even raikage is a GREAT match up for deva path. In minato and raikages case one chibaku and its GG though. However in itachis case itachi will just spam 30 yasaka magatama and completely destroy the chibaku tensei... or just pierce deva with the totsuka sword.... and since chibaku tensei is a channeling ability the ability will stop once deva path is sealed. However in minato and raikages case its much more difficult than just that. I say Minato has higher chances of winning. however if minato is hit by CT or shinra he is pretty much done for. so one screw up on deva paths part and its over.

It was stated by minatos master that Naruto has surpassed both jiraya and minato. However, if its just deva path i see minato having a chance.... on the other hand, u cant even compare minato to nagato. NO just no... sorry. That is just fanboyism... i honestly nagato beats minato mid to low difficulty lol.... i dont see minato winning against nagato in any situation.... however just to inform you people i believe in the manga... and it was stated EXTREMELY clearly that Itachi Uchiha is far superior to nagato. when? kabuto stated and i quote "Nagato you worthless bastard" "Itachi got all the summons in all their blind spots... and its impossible to dodge an attack like that.... Just to let you know, a healthy Nagato would defeat Itachi.
