Konohamaru gets caught. Ebisu charges in attempt to rescue him, but gets fended away. Even when caught, Konoha (maru) tries to decipher Pein's powers. But, his soul gets slowly dragged out. During that moment, he remembers the training he went through with Naruto.

Smoke surrounds Konoha(maru) and then Rasengan!!

I am genin of the Sarutobi clan, last name Sarutobi, first name Konohamaru - remember that!!

Pein is defeated

Tsunade and Pein. From conversation, it looks as though she realized that this is Yahiko.

Pein asks where Naruto is.

Then they start babbling about Jinchuuriki's and wars. Pein says that he will spare her life if she cooperates. Tsunade tells him to not underestimate the 5-kages. And tells him that he won't get Naruto, as Naruto is strong as well.

Shizune's group is talking to the Angou-bu (code-deciphering group) about the information they have on Pein.

They start to realize the nature of the chakra signals manipulating these dead bodies.

The long-haired Pein appears. He grabs Shizune's head, and threatens to kill her if anyone moves.

He peers into her head and finds out that Naruto is in Myoubokuzan.

Tendou-pein gets this message - on to next week


Konohamaru executes the Rasengan, but it's unknown whether or not Pein is defeated as he is engulfed in a massive amount of rubble.

now when naruto first attempted rasengan on kabuto he hurt hiim but he got nowhere close to killing him .......................... and isnt naruto suppode to be stronger then konohamaru and how exactly did that little prick learn rasengan from someone he needs an explanation 5 times b4 he can do a jutsu

i know right how can a kid hurt him.. and kakashi and jiraiya both lose. this manga is starting to get out of hand!

i can't see the pictures from work but from all your reactions it sounds weak and lame. is the pain body really destroyed or is it just thrown back and under rubble. we've seen those bodies come back after much more damage right? i just have a hard time believing kono could take a pein down in one shot.

man, this is as disappointing as Sora surviving the fox cloak when Naruto was supposed to be the only one that could survive the fox cloak. kishi is making Naruto out to seem more and more... well, average... and someone might say that the next generation always surpasses the last but common. kono shouldn't be doing any rasengans, that's for sure... at least not that young.

i think everyone is being a little to tough on konohamaru. i mean sure he seemed pretty weak in the beginning but i think we are all forgetting that he has the blood of one of the most strongest clans in konoha. i agree that he should have learnt some more original jutsu but after all he is naruto's student and he is following in his footsteps etc.

and i think that konohamaru could learn the rasengan. don't forget that he had one of the best teachers in konoha(ebisu who could have helped him with chakra control). cmon guys give konohamaru a little credit. i'm sure later on he will develop some unique jutsus. who knows he may even infuse fire(?) with the rasengan?

Yeah it kinda sucks that Konohamaru defeated Pain.

But it was just one body, the one of interrogation, that can take one's soul.

Jirayia died against all six bodies, and Kakashi against God Realm and that missile one.

I hate it that Kono just defeated a Pain body, but get used to it. This kid will begin to get sronger and stronger.

But I don't think you can compare the cases. Konohamaru defeated that particular body... It doesn't mean he defeated Pain.

And we don't even know if he was defeated, he'll probably get up in the next chapter.
