why do people say naruto cant beat tobi or nagato

he all ready beat the six paths of pain (before bm) and he fights tobi after nearly exhaustin all of bm by split his chakra so he could help in other parts of the war and still took down some tailed beast....im not no fan boy (because frankly naruto only really has variations of one jutsu that gets old) but one on one shouldnt he be able to take them down

When Naruto fought Pein, Pein was already weakened and Naruto knew all of Pein's strengths and weaknesses. He also got a cheap shot on the asura path, Pein wasn't fighting to kill but to capture and Naruto still needed Hinata's intervention. Also, if Naruto could take Tobi out on his own, then why does he need Kakashi, Guy and killer bees help right now?

It's not confirmed yet that if preta path can take out all of that dense chakra. Also their's a limit to SM like he has to get still in order to soak nature chakra in. Naruto has almost infinte chakra in that mode, which means he can still hit him with his brute force while his chakra is being sucked.
OT: he can certainly beat Nagato but it's still diff for him to take down tobi yet-not impossible though, considering all the tech shown by him.
P.S He can also go SM & biju at the same time, as shown in recent chapter. So it should be obvious now that he can beat Nagato, without a doubt

He beat Pain ( who already pinned him to the ground & would've killed him , if he wasn't a precious jinchuriki ) , not prime Nagato who fodderized Naruto & Bee together without having the ability to take any step ( due to his legs )

so Nagato or Tobi would defeat BM by absorbing its chakra via preta path ( like Nagato did to Bee )

+ BM Naruto would just phase through Tobi
