Well, as far as this fight goes.. my usage of mayfly stands as its the currently approved usage by kaito, if after this he wants to change that.. fair enough.

according to the speed chart, your speed is level 7 (once you begin to emerge from the ground). His speed is level 5. His byakugan allows him see at 2x his level and follow your movements. So once you emerge from the ground and try to stab him in the neck he can see you doing so at a level 3 higher than what you are traveling. Granted you still have a level advantage over him when it comes to speed, it think its obsurd to say that he isnt fast enough to block it. That would mean that in a hand to hand fight all S-class ninjas wouldnt even stand a chance against a kage ranked person. If thats the case, thats not an RP I want to be a part of.

Do you really think being 2 levels faster than him allows you to travel from the ground to his neck faster than he can do a quarter turn? In my humble opinion, eight trigrams palms revolving heaven would have been enough to counter your stab.

You are kind of oversimplifying this SY.

there is a reason I am saying he cant block it and seen as you seem to not understand why i'll explain it.

1. as soon as i emerge he has to realise i'm there, he wont know instantly
2. his brain has to then register that, overcome the surprise and then formulate a plan on how to react
3. his body then has to perform the reaction

so yes, his movements are only slightly slower but because of that and factoring in the time delay he'd have in starting his defense, he cant react in time.

This is why zen stated you mush have enhanced reactions aswell as the ability to notice my presence

Yes, it allows you to travel at extremely high speeds by meging your body with the ground/organic matter (which may include water).

The mayfly isn't countered? If a byakugan can't what can?

yes that was a bit over zealous of me and i did recheck with zen on how it can be countered as you can see when i posted the conversation he added a few things that can counter it, but somone without an enhanced reaction speed cannot

For those of you reading this who dont know, I've been doing kickboxing for almost 2 years now and spar every week. yesterday a guy tried to roundhouse kick me. This is what literally went through my mind.

"Hes about to kick me. His face is open. Punch him in the face or kick catch?"

[at that point in the night my kick catches hadnt been great]

just as soon as his kick landed on my side I had punched him square in the face. I didnt sit there like whinnie the pooh and contemplate every possible scenario.

I'm just going to leave it with this. I think you're realizing you made a shady move and now you're looking for excuses. I apologize for being rude but I believe that your move isn't an instant death move. The way you used mayfly would make it more powerful that the FTG technique, and if it was then Tobi wouldnt have told Zetsu that he wasnt a front line fighter in the manga.
