So I was perusing my User CP and was looking at my recent reputation and thought that it would be cool to have the option of seeing a line graph of the change in one's reputation over time.

I would assume that one's reputation stays relatively constant (with the occasional + rep from a long-forgotten post), but then has sudden spikes resulting from, but not limited to: good thread topics, well done artwork, funny posts, well thought out arguments, etc.

Such an option would serve to both quell one's curiosity (or boredom xd) as well as being just plain cool :D

Let me know what you think (including feasibility) :)

EDIT - Another suggestion could be a way to see all the rep you have gotten in the past. Because if you get a whole bunch real quick you might not be able to see who it all came from and can't thank them or + rep them back!

EDIT - I'll put this on the end of the first post too

I really don't see the point of graph. People who get mass rep at a time, know why they got it usually.

Feasibility is a real issue as the idea of viewing all the rep has come up various times .

Are you guys gonna pay for the extra bandwidth? Then sure.
Crash rate of the site increased by 512%.
It would be entirely too many db entries.

Just as an example:
If you took the top 100 reps, and added thier rep clicks, you would get 42,702 db entries. That's as of me typing this. So that's only the top 100. Imagine what a mess it would be for the entire forum.

Bold: Mods/admins, very active members like myself get repped quite a lot per day. So no, 'one's reputation doesn't stay relatively constant'.

I don't agree with this, only because members that have a lot of rep, it would just be a plain. I don't want to see, how many people have repped me. Saying this imagine someone with lets say 10,000 rep points. It would be like 10 or so pages long on who has repped them. It would make them forum really slow.
