Lightning is one of the five basic elements. High chakra vibrations allow the lightning to be generated. "Aye, very well spoken, ye' covered pretty much everything. Now we will move onto chakra manipulation."

Thunder clouds begin to roar around us, powerful bolts of natural lightning striking down around us.

I hand you a piece of chakra paper.

*I place the paper in my hand and close my eyes. I focus my chakra and think of the lighting that surrounds us. I feel the lightning's savage and free nature. My chakra begins vibrating rapidly, and tiny sparks begin forming in my hand as it passes through the paper. The result crinkles the paper and I feel my hand get zapped by the sparks*

*I place the paper in my hand and close my eyes. I focus my chakra and think of the lighting that surrounds us. I feel the lightning's savage and free nature. "Anyways, now that you did that, I want you to focus lightning chakra to your fingertips. It should be crackling, and it should be a visible chakra."

*I stare at my fingertips as the lightning continue to clash around us. I send my lightning chakra into my fingertips and have it vibrate frequently. I notice the chakra becoming more visible and making a crackling sound*

As I see the Lightning chakra forming, I start to infuse it into the Kunai while increasing the vibration. I feel the energy around the Kunai, it's sharpness increasing. I turn to the tree on my right and launch the Kunai at it. I watch in amazement as the Kunai travels quickly toward the tree and cuts through it with ease*

As I see the Lightning chakra forming, I start to infuse it into the Kunai while increasing the vibration. I feel the energy around the Kunai, it's sharpness increasing. I turn to the tree on my right and launch the Kunai at it. I watch in amazement as the Kunai travels quickly toward the tree and cuts through it with ease*

Good, you just learned your first Raiton jutsu:

As we know, lightning jutsu deal with vibrating frequencies that give the techniques intense cutting power. Although lightning isn't necessarily solid, and can't really be touched per say, it also isn't intangible, and serves better for blunt force piercing attacks (As opposed to the type of cutting or piercing power offered by wind style). On top of that, the lightning techniques are like the electric impulses we receive from our own nerves, which is why when we get hit with Raiton, our bodies mistake the electricity for nerve impulses, and tense up causing paralysis. Knowing such information, even the weakest of jutsu can be put to excellent use.

Then have it travel through the ground, and up use it to shock my clone who is coming at you ready to strike (Too add on the pressure). If you don't get it right, he'll punch you."

Good, and now onto the next technique.

"Now what I want you to do is to release your raiton chakra from your pores, and cause it to form around you like a blanket of focused lightning, one which on contact will electrocute my clone, and very temporarily paralyze him."

"Obviously, if someone is coming towards you intent on using Taijutsu, you could use this technique to briefly shock them and to throw them off enough to leave a window in which you could counter.

Now this next technique is similar in principle to the prior technique, except for the fact that on contact it will cause a small explosion. Make sure to perform the technique in such a way that it does not hurt you, but only slightly hurts my clone."

Defend and counter with Lightning

*I begin by releasing the Raiton chakra out of my body and start manipulating it so that it surrounds me like a shield. Because your clone's punch is wide and obvious I am able move between you and your arm. Surrounded by lightning, I grab his wild swing with my right hand, and thus he is shocked. While being shocked I punch him with my Lightning infused left hand in the gut, thus sending in more lightning into him*

Good. Now, you see hoe you can utilize such lightning techniques in short range? By stopping a punch, and following up with an abrupt lightning shock, you can temporarily tense up an opponents muscles, and follow up with a powerful attack to a pressure point. My favorite pressure point is the Solar Plexus, throughout almost every taijutsu fight I'm in I will probably try to strike you there at least once.

Although that is a possibility, I suggest you don't use it in Taijutsu based fights, as it tends to ruin the fun of the battle. It is merely there incase you wish to use it in Ninjutsu battles, and remains an option.

Onto the next technique:

"Begin by moulding your riation chakra and concentrating it to your hands. Release the chakra as a wave of lightning that protrudes outwards. It should be powerful enough to rip through solid rock, as well as serving to possibly augment the strength of a water style technique."
