girl(anime only)=bells that when wrung made you really dizzy, creating a powerful genjutsu
then there wa the sound 5 girl who used a flute to do some crazy powerful steal your chakra and extremely powerful genjutsu stuff and almost killed shikimaru, who would have died if it wasn't for that girl temari who saved him.

Nobody has any proof to back up each Tailed Beast being aligned to a certain element. BUT for the sake of discussion...
Sound may be an element, but Sand and Wood are 'secondary' elements. The primary elements are: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, Lightning, Dark, Light, maybe Sound, maybe Medical, maybe something else... maybe there are only 6.

i agree i don't like this speculation that 9-tail is a fire chakra user, or anything along those lines. There are only 5 elmentes Wind, Water, Fire, Thunder, Earth The rest of the powers, i.e. Ice, Wood, Mud, comes from the combinations of such elements. Healing jutsu comes from extreme precise chakra control, genjutsu comes from the combination of chakra into the nervous system that is introduced to trough the senses. True each monster has it's own ability, shukaku controls earth and wind, Nibi controled fire, Hachibi had ridiculous strength, Kyubi enourmous chakra, the others are unknown but it can be safe to assume that Kyubi chakra is to intense and sinister that it harms naruto not beacuse it is of fire..Killer bee when using the Hachibi chakra obtained the same cloak and it was bubbling the same way and there was no apparent damage done to killer be so it defenitly has to do something with Kyubi...also in the anime they showed naruto with kyubi eyes but they were blue what was all that about is kishimoto hinting to us something or did his coloring artist just screw up badly?

Yeah, which now means we will have to see the Shino vs Konan fight, Gai vs somebody fight, Kiba vs hell realm(?) fight, Tsunade vs Pein fight, and Kakashi alive or dead conclusion chapter.... before Naruto finally gets to Konoha! >.<Well I like it
