Is Sakura falling in love with Naruto?

I think she may be. It seems plausible that she would be anyway. I mean, he shouldered a promise for her all that time...though it's over now. After Sai told her what she may have been blind to see, she realized how much he cares for her. And then Sasuke tried to kill her twice, I think that horse was shot in the face.

But I mean, the signs are there. While she was healing him after the Kyuubi was unleashed, Yamato hints that she does. And when she was healing Hinata, the look she had in her eyes was pretty downcast to find that she loved Naruto. The ellipsis suggests there is more to her thoughts we weren't seeing. Maybe she was jealous because she does as well... I mean, why would she care anyway? Why show us this scene? Why show her thinking this? It's pretty hint-hint if you ask me.

But I think she took the opportunity and did something the old Sakura would have never done. She hugged him. She crried out for him and he saved the village as she was hoping he would. He deserved that recognition from her. Furthermore, she also feeds him after he hurts his arm from using the Rasen-Shuriken. That's also something she never would have done.

In all honesty, she has come a long way from the Sasuke fangirl she used to be. I'd say after Sasuke left, she was able to see past him and to Naruto. When she and Naruto meet up after the time skip, she seems to think he's taller and more handsome. Another lead on that was implied well. If you consider Sasuke's feelings, he's never loved Sakura. Or was interested in her in any way beyond her being a comrade. So he wouldn't be interested in rebuilding his clan with her. I think he may go for Karin. Sakura may just want to rebuild the Uzumaki clan with Naruto... But I really think she's transitioned from Sasuke to Naruto. And given Naruto's strong will to never give up, I doubt he's going to give up on getting her to show her feelings to him/like him back (if she doesn't already).

I don't see it that way. Naruto sees it as Iruka, Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke who saved him. Hinata never spoke to him though she saw him suffering.

I'm sorry, but when you say that she's useless, you're really saying Ino, Tenten, and Hinata are completely useless. She's done more for the series than they have combined.

Naruto has no development with any other female that could be a love interest. Hinata's feelings are one-sided as Naruto has never spent any time with her like he does with Sakura. There is no small talk, no jokes, no history but there is awkwardness. All that he's lacking with her, he already has with Sakura. If he got with Hinata, that would be bad writing. A relationship cannot simply and suddenly form from a few experiences on the battlefield.

I'm a college student learning about argumentation in English, and you guys honestly give bad arguments. To simply say "No" because you hate Sakura, and "Yes" to Hinata because you like her better with no backbone comes off as an elementary judgement at best. Hinata has NOT been there for him, she was there watching him. That wasn't even what this thread was about. I provided proof from the manga and examples we know about to support my claim and honestly to dismiss them is not fair to Sakura. This actually happened. Naruto has never been in Hinata's arms. Nor does he spend time with her.

Please refrain from bringing Hinata into this. If that's your reasoning, then don't post because that is not what this thread was about.

To take over as the head of the Konoha Hospital during its destruction is more than any of them. That was a major accomplishment and she proved herself useful by stepping up to the plate and handling the situation. She proved her skills as an expert Medical Ninja and is still proving them even now.

She analyzed Zetsu's DNA and took down his clone. More than any of the others did.

And she was able to take down an Akatsuki despite the help. She did the brute work in that situation. That's more than you can say for any of the other girls in Konoha. Much more.

When you point a finger, three point back at you. Your argument is elementary and your reasoning has absolutely no backbone. There has never been an instance where it was even hinted that Naruto likes Hinata beyond a friend. Next time you say someone is an idiot, you should definitely be in front of a mirror.

I was just reading that. But no one says you're confined to love just one person especially if you're not with anyone. I'd say she has seen all that Naruto has done for her and may have started transitioning to him because he has certainly done more for her than Sasuke has. I think Naruto still has strong feelings for her despite that realization that she will harbor feelings for Sasuke.

Honestly, Sakura has done more than Hinata has so that's how she's more useful. She's proved herself useful to the series and the people around her (beyond just Naruto for the Hinata counterargument) on more occasions which is why I say if you say Sakura is useless, then you're saying everyone else who has done practically nothing is more useless. Sakura is an expert med ninja and has a powerful fist while Hinata has a neared mastery of her Kekkei Genkai. Sakura, to say she's not from any particular clan, stands up well against her.

She's also more 3 dimensional than Hinata. She cries, but proves her strength. She has so much going for her as a medical ninja and is not simply Sasuke crazed. Hinata does nothing but pine after Naruto. When I saw what she said as she ran towards Naruto's direction, I was thinking there would be nothing more she could say because that's all her character is and has ever been: an obsession with him..

Not to mention Minato and Kushina. There is so much similarity between those two and Sakura and Naruto it's weird. The fact that Naruto and Minato both saved them (in like the same position) seals the deal.

When people say Kushina is like Hinata I wonder how blind they are. Hinata has NEVER hit Naruto let alone had this look on her face.
