LOL that's what I thought was ganna happen too. I was about to rage throw my laptop but it was only the first page... I can't wait to see the Kabuto/ Uchiha fight but knowing Kishi he's ganna switch it to either the kage fight or the Naruto fight and we'll have to wait a couple of chapters. Hopefully, super duper hopefully, I'm wrong and we get to see the fight right away!

What a splendid chapter for my bday! Its getting serious with the kages vs madara with all those darn wood clones..what will they do now..and itachi teaming up with sasuke is beast damn i wish next week was here already! 5/5

Epic chapter i can't wait for the next week chapter an btw isn't Itachi gonna die(again) if he stops the Edo Tensei??And way to go Tsunade has the same ability as Hashirama yay! ^^

Kishi is taking an unexpected turn with this. I expected Tobi to have retreated long ago, but we haven't seen any proof that he has done that. In fact, it seems he is still fighting them right now, based on that crappy first page of the manga. Also, the Madara vs. 5 Kage's fight should have ended a few chapters ago, imo, resulting in Madara retreating. Lastly, I think having Sasuke team up with Itachi has really sapped some bite out of the manga. Its been all convo and no action because Kishi is trying to string the plot together. I just really think he got himself into a debacle reuniting Sasuke and Itachi.
Overall, I really hope and highly suspect that no casualties will result from either the 5 kages or Tobi battle. I just really feel that a regrouping of the enemies is needed, to solidify the two Madara's plans' in our eyes. I think Kabuto might end up dead or captured, but I can't see Madara or Tobi loosing just yet.
^ This, and we all know that Madara's clones won't last long. Afterall, they each have only 1/25th of the original's strength.

Kabuto has made it pretty clear that he is after the power of the So6P, just as Madara is. After all, orochimaru always wanted the truth behind all ninjutsu, and who created ninjutsu?

i think Edo madara is merely stalling the 5 kages for Tobi's sake. And tobi can't retreat because it's the opportunity he's been waiting for, getting the last 2 taield beasts. i wouldn't fret too much about there being no action. kishi has set up the battlefield on all 3 events, there's really nothing left for anyone to do but fight it out now.

This is what i think is going to happen
the 3 stages are set we know that, but this is what is going to happen in each of the battles.
Tobi vs Naruto, Gai and so on: As tobi thinks he has this thing won because it seems they are almost depleted out of Ki, all of the army arrives and rattle behind naruto, Naruto says his line we are united blah blah. Tobi makes a quick attack and takes BEE then says he will leave Naruto for now and decides to retreat to reassess his plan.
Madara Vs Kages: Madara is whooping their asses and at the same time they are almost all about to get defeated and die when suddenly before madara can deliver his final attack the coffin rises and traps him..WHAT??? yes that happens lol
Sasuke and itachi vs Kabuto: They start fighting and its an awesome fight but even as powerful as Kabuto is he is over whelmed by the Uchiha brothers after all sasuke with the EMS and Itachi with the MS is a bit much for anyone. and as soon as it seems that they are about to corner Kabuta, a coffin appears...Its Madara...Sasuke confident goes agains madara but he posses the rinnegan and its too strong for him. Itachi fights aswell but they are no match for Madara. They exchange awesome stories about the Uchiha and how they must join him but in the End The love for his brother is much more important then the pride of the Uchiha. Kabuto is killed but at the same time Itachi is killed sacrificing his life once more to protect his brother and the future. But not before telling sasuke something very important to him that will change Sasuke for ever. As Madara moves to finish sasuke, Sasuke's new EMS skill reveals it self and he is teleported away and is saved by this skill. He teleports to an orochimaru Hideout in the area and meets with his team and that Specific scroll.
Sasuke Gains the power in that scroll its probably activates some sort of power probably the rinnegan.
Ending Fight Sasuke goes to talk to Naruto and tells him he will defeat tobi and madara because he promised it to Itachi, but as soon as they defeat them he will fight Naruto like he promise. Naruto Decides he will help him and fight him.
Thats as far as i can see. Maybe Kabuto doesnt die but it seems to me that in the final battle Sasuke and Naruto will join forces to defeat Tobi and Madara. Sasuke will probably sacrifice his life in the end to defeat the Evil..In that way redeem himself and his clan and become a hero on konoha like Itachi always wanted naruto will become inturn the Hokage and Join all the villages in peace...THE END

Madara is a very cocky character but likable in the way he presents himself. Who would've thought he was going to use mass shadow clones to fight the Kages? I think his pride and self-confident will be his end.
I personally think Kishi had Sasuke tag along with Itachi to shed light on Sasuke's good side. A lot of people started hating Sasuke for the douchebag he became after Itachi's death so what better way to put him back on the likable side than to have him fight alongside Itachi? I kind of like Sasuke's character when he's not going on about killing everyone.
Kabuto doesn't seem worried one bit... I guess we'll see his secret jutsu in the coming chapters.

Translation has been terrible for few past chapters now but I appreciate the work they put in. Some quotes are not 100% clear but you do get a sense of what the character is trying to say.

The translations on Narutobase are always pretty bad, I miss mangastreams translations T_T.
Another note Itachi promised he'd talk to Sasuke after they defeat Kabuto. But once he stops the Edo Tensei he will vanish as well thus breaking his promise to Sasuke once again.
