In the manga it clearly says that the only way to enter sage mode is through NOT MOVING A SINGLE MUSCLE.

Now I would like to point out that both the diaphragm thingie which controlls your breathing, and your heart are muscles.

If you were to stop moving those muscles you would die.

This either means that

A) Sage Mode is impossible and lacks logic yada yada yada

or

B) Proof that Sage Mode can exist while moving your muscles.

I dont think kishi goes into quite that much research lol, but the manga always contradicts itself anyways like when mangekyou is unavoidable unless you have mangekyou too, and then the 8tails shakes off sasukes mangekyou genjutsu like it was nothing.

So chances are naruto will figure out a way to enter sage mode without moving.

Certain buddhist monks have the ability to slow their breathing and heartrate so much that the have the ability to go into a catatonic/coma like state. It is possible that during these periods, the heart and lungs (including the diaphragm) do not move for an extended period. Therefore, depending on how fast he can get into sage, it is possible.

Tho I agree, I doubt kishi went that deep.

Either that or he'll pull a DBZ and just constantly be in sage mode, I would personally find that pretty cool.

anybody can learn to control their heart beat and make it so it isn't that hard(just get some sort of machine to make a noise each time you beat your heart, and eventually you will gain control) lol.

The thing to remember here is that you're talking about sympathetic vs parasympathetic...voluntary vs involuntary movements. Many who practice yoga or other eastern forms of meditation that allow someone to take a direct blow to a sensitive area and completely block out the pain are simply controlling what they can but their heart still beats.

whether it is voluntary or involuntary is irrelevent, they are still muscle's, and they still move.

I was going to point this out as well. Just happen to have my Buddhism books right next to me from class. Ah well, yeah. But yeah, I doubt they thought about that.
