Its is and allways will be offensive to insult someones intellegence. Please,since your appearently smarter than most of Narutobase, tell me in detail how you came to the conclusion that Deidara will win this with ease. :|

Its not hard to understand.
Gai is a close range fighter.
Deidora is long range, but can also fly.
Gai might be able to use ninjutsu but that isnt his fighting style. Besides he would have to have lighting based attacks to neuralise the bombs, which by the way is only c1,2 and 3.
Gai isnt that smart to figure out how the bombs works
He doesnt have a doujutsu or a technique which senses chakra. This is in relation to c4
He needs a summoning technique to evade c0 if it comes down to it, which it will not
To the person who said gai is fast enough to evade c4 or c0.;

Gai isn't smart? What? Guy would slaughter him with the 8 Gates the hell are you thinking man? Guy has been shown on many occasions to figure things out relatively quickly. I mean dude, he came up with a counter for the Sharingan. Your under rating him. By alot. And alot of people seem to forget about his Daytime Tiger, which instantly kills you if he wills it, and its nearly unavoidable, not to mention that after he explodes with this, he can keep going, unlike Deidra.

Ive other things to do and tbh there is nothing to discuss here.
You talk about the 8 gates as if you know what it is exactly, not to mention we havent seen it. Regardless unless gai can fly 8 gates isnt working. At the highlighted part list me one?. You say he came up with a way to counter sharigan, if you are talking about the look at your feet and predict movement it reeks with fail and if itachi was a bad guy team kakashi would be dead.
That tactic firstly against itachi was useless. Itachi uses genjutsu regardless fo the sharigan. Secondly, if he looks at his feet he is vulnerable to amaterasu. If add the fact that he cannot see a ninja weave handseals therefore he doesnt know what ninjutsu a sharigan user is about to use in order to counter effectively, gai's counter is failure at its best.
You say day time tiger instantly kills, because kisame was dead. And how is gai exactly closing the range between him and deidora to use day time tiger

Deidara with low-med difficulty, to be honest I don't see a way of guy hurting him, constant bombardment of c1-3 will be too much for guy to handle, you can talk about 8 gates all you want he won't hit a flying (fast) target whilst dealing with this constant bombing, and even if he did, c4 would finish guy off as he does not have the speed to evade, or intelligence to defend himself against the micro-bombs. I don't even see Deidara having to use c4 / c0 frankly.
