The obvious answer is A but I'm going with Shikamaru due to another plan.

^^ A wins but Shikamaru being intelligent will quit himself. He will just break out of shadow jutsu using his pure physical strength.

The week Shikamaru has to form a plan would definitely help even the odds a little bit more, but I still think A would take the victory; his status as a Kage isn't defined by his brute strength, but his ability to maneuver and think strategically during battle too. I don't think his mental prowess is even close to Shikamaru's level, but I think that, in the end, A would outlast Shikamaru's chakra reserves OR simply land a hard blow on Shikamaru; either one of those would probably end the fight right then.

Oh I didn't really think about that when I made this thread. That forces him to do something like stiching doesn't it. This is yuckier than I thought.
