Yea but that would mean that Naruto will know what is happening in Konoha nad Kishi does not want that, and what about, if Naruto falls asleep, he will make the clone disappear or if he is exhausted during his training.
Don't expect much from Konohamaru....
He's gonna get killed...
He's not Naruto so people shouldn't expect much from him. He won't summon the monkey king, not enough chakra. He may be able to do rasangen, altough I doubt it. He dosen't have the mastery of shadow clones like Naruto does.

i still think Pein is gonna end up leaving on his own when he finds out naruto isnt there....
And Naruto's new thing is probably gonna take a long time... but he'll be able to do it...

As common sense tells us you are tottaly right - its physically imposible for Kono to master rasengan or shadow clones, because he graduated from academy not long ago. But the plot is unpredictable - mr. Kishimoto showed that to us along time ago. So there also may be a surprise. I think naruto ment that kono should be strong and never give up. But naruto used the word "technique" in manga 426, so maybe it is really something imortant, dont you think? But we wont find out untill we see that... I am dying of curiosuty!!!

My beliefs
Konohamaru I believe will not die. He will start to show some promise. Then he will get destroyed by Pein and someone will have to save him... I am thinking that it will not be kakashi because kakashi has to talk to his dad for a bit. But I think neji or Lee will come to the rescue or possibley Sakura because those three have not seen any action as of yet in the entire pein attack arc. so maybe one of them. as for the jutsu... Kishi likes screwing around with people so naruto probley tought him both the clone jutsu, rasengan and maybe "that" jutsu... you never know when kishi is writting lol. I have always loved naruto and well Im getting really excited because this is getting to be an amazing arc so far.
As for naruto learning how to collect natural energy... I believe naruto will use a shadow clone jutsu to sit still while others fight to distract the enemy.:headband:
so that might be it. It's kind obvious though so maybe not. But I mean hell it's a guess.

My Guess Script
A 1 and half year flashback. Kakashi and Guy are training deep in the woods.
Gai: KAKASJI, my number one rival, I have a new technique that is sure to defeat you, ending our rivalry once and for all!! The vigor of youth flows through my viens!
Kakashi: (Thinks to himself: Gai is going to seriously injure himself one of these times, I better end it quick)
Kakashi and Gai strike fighting stances
Kakashi lifts his headband protector revealing his sharingan eye.
Gai: I though thats how it would be, but I am completely prepared!
He strikes a pose and a colorful aura surrounds him.
Fists and Feet fly, as kakashi and gai jump and spar in the air.
Meanwhile 3 rock country nin are concealed in a rubble pile nearby
Rock Nin: What luck! Maito Gai and Copy ninja Kakashi! At this rate these two will destroy eachother, we can just pick up the pieces and retrive the bounty on their heads.
Kakashi and Gai continue fighting and and are begining to get tired, both sweat heavily.
Kakashi: Gai, your speed has definitely improved
Gai: More than you know KAKASHI!
Gai lands a kick to the center of Kakashi's back
*Poof*
Gai: A shadow clone! Ill have to step it up a notch. The vigor of youth!

Rock Nin hurls a spear with 20 exploding tags, aimed straight for Gai, who appears unconscious
Kakashi: (Shocked) If that hits him he will die!! Gai move!
Kakashi starts running towards Gai.
Kakashi: Ill never make it, Gai,
Kakashi runs distraught, single drop of blood comes out of his sharingan eye
Kakashi: GAIIII!

The spear shatters in mid air, half of it vanishing, the other part exploding, midway between the rock nin and Gai's flying body. The explosion causes Gai to be knocked around even more, and rubble falls on the rock nin. Overhead view shows Kakashi and Gai lying on the ground, and the area where the rock nin were hideing covered completely.

Personal predictions.
Kakashi~When he re-enters the story he'll be discussing Naruto with his father and his father will help him realize he still has work to do and can't rejoin his friends (enter sterotypical anime/manga scene where Kakashi walks away and the father watches and smiles). Kakashi has more left, just not much. What he's doing right now is selfish. He wants to die soe he can be with his friends and what better death than defending the village? He won't jump back in the fight, but he'll pull himself up to give the kunai to Naruto or something similar and the slugs will keep him alive. Than it's back to...... the hospital!! I wonder if he has one of those hole punch cards and he's gonna get a free latte or something.
Konohamaru~Remember we haven't seen hime fight, or even really train since Naruto helped him realize how hard he would half to work to become hokage. He's going to lose, but he's going to put up one hell of a fight. Most likely he will come close to death and Ebisu sensei will throw himself in front of the killing blow and he'll be forced to run. This will act as the catalyst Konohamaru needs to be the bad ass he will become in the next great ninja war.
Naruto~He will not be able to utilize natural chakra. It will turn out to be impossible. But as a handy side effect he will use the new cool calm Naruto to use the Kyubi in a similar fashion to the natural sage chakra and bring the two one step closer to unison. This will cause Naruto to be stronger than sage mode Naruto. Most likely this will happen as a side effect of Naruto obtaining ,the sealed scroll. The usual, "you're crazy, it'll kill you!!," "I have to, it's the only way."
Sasuke~Still think he's on his own path, not good or bad but his. Won't take Itachi's eyes, will put a plan in place to kill Madara prior to the ninja wars. Most likely someone will save his ass. The conflict will conclude in the ninja wars. Sasuke will take out Madara and Madara will say something about Sasuke taking his eyes, "No. I will find my own path to power." In the end Sasuke will go blind and only achieve half his plan. He will avenge his family, but not rebuild his clan as he doesn't want to restart all the bloodshed that has tormented him all his life. "Look around Naruto. This war, all of this bloodshed, the name Uchiha is stained by it. No, it is only right that a clan responsible for so much pain should pass from this world."
Pain~Extraordinarily powerful, and with a strong possibility for an army of protection (probably has a freezer full of corpses somewhere). His death will mark the end of Shipuuden. Naruto will come home the fox sage to see Konoha in ruins. Rage will turn his path from Sasuke retrieval to vengance. He will head to the rain village, and tear it apart hunting down Nagato's real body. The last scene of shippuden will beNaruto bathed in Nagato's blood standing on one of the statues look over the rain village at the devastation he's caused. This will be another shaping of his character and between the next timeslip he will be rebuilding the rain village, and yet again, forging stronger ties for Konoha. The neutral nation will help Konoha in the war.
