Itachi vs Oonoki

Sick itachi > old onoki
Healthy itachi > prime onoki
Anyway the only thing that would cause itachi's problems is onoki's ability to fly because he would gain abit of immunity to itachi's short range genjutsu's although he still has his long range available to him. Secondly itachi's main long range technique is yasaka magatama and although onoki's is extremely slow on land (back problems + old age), he has been noted to be fairly fast in the air, if so should be able to evade yasaka magatama.
Anyway on dust release. Dust release should damagae a fully developed susano. I dont believe it would annihilate a complete one and the idea of it getting past one with the yata mirror hasnt crossed my mind.
Anyway in order for onoki to use dust release he must not only come in close proximity to itachi meaning itachi would able to attack or put him in genjutsu before he completes dust releases which takes time to materialise, but also onoki has to stay stationary in oder to use dust release.
In the process of creating dust releases and in close proximity with itachi, amaterasu one of the fastest attacks would engulf Onoki before his dust releases materialise. Secondly in close proximity with itachi in susano and onoki staying stationary in order to use dust release could be sealed with the totsuka sword

Itachi wins mid-possibly high difficulty.
If Onoki keeps his distance he has a chance, and his jutsu has great AOE.
However, Itachi has better reactions/speed/ and his movements combined with justu will be far more efficient because of the sharingan. Itachi is smarter imo.
Quite frankly Itachi can react to Onoki, and his MS will seal the match for him.
Just because Onoki knows he has to avoid Itachi's eyes doesn't mean he can defeat Itachi.

Even in the air he has to decrease the space between him and itachi in order to hit him with dust release who is on land. Regardless dust release is a strong technique but due to its speed it gets a massive downgrade. Its too slow to materialise and against somebody with a speed stat of 5/5, great shunshin but also handspeed of 5/5, itachi can not only evade it but also create a number of attacks (ninjutsu's) even before dust release materialises. Onoki is also stationary when creating dust release.
Basically dust releases leaves its user's vulnerable since they have to stay stationary, btu also it takes long to materialise.

yata mirror is presumed to be able to block any element so dust release is ineffective for as long as itachi can hold susanoo and also the totsuka sword may come in handy when onoki experiences his back pains cause he can't move like when he faced the 2nd mizukage tsukuyomi should finish onoki off because he has the will of stone that keeps him going xd

That really doesn't look like it has a range limit and even with the time it takes to prepare it has mobility once it's charged. The charging time doesn't seem that long anyway. Also once it is ready to go it would be VERY hard to evade.
Itachi can only use Amaterasu so many times before falling to the ground. Same with susanoo as he is in a time limit.
There will be failed attempts to hit Oonoki with Amaterasu as he can fly fast as noted by Deidara when Kabuto and Oonoki met for the first time. He can make himself lighter (increase his speed)
With each miss draining his chakra and stamina. Plus susanoo strains his body and makes him weak.
While Oonoki can situate a defense and throw Itachi off his feet with his jutsu.

Onoki wins, his Rock Golem is more then enough to shield from Amaterasu, he's not stupid enough to look in Itachi's eyes to get caught in Tsukiyomi either, he's fighting Madara for the second time. Onoki is not slow, he can manipulate his mass to become lighter making him faster, he flies hella fast which will make it harder for Itachi to cast genjutsu, not to mention he has Dust Release which he spams out of the arse from what I've seen, Onoki hands down, Itachi looses.
