*Mifune, the Dragon of the West, awaits Gintoki, the Dragon of the east, near the bank of a river; the autumn sun is setting behind twin mountains in the distance, casing golden shades across the land, as the leaves fall from the trees like glowering embers.

The wind blows in a pleasant gust, sending the golden hair of the Dragon, along with his white jacket, into a flutter behind him; two large bundles of katana are with the Dragon, held together by blazing yellow tape emblazoned with "Keep Out".

A reed hanging lazily in his mouth, the Dragon meditates in the pleasant weather, as he awaits his friend.*

*At the distance, Gin walks in. The samurai is seem to have his left arm inside the sleeve, using his open kimono to sustain the weight of his arm. His natural permed hair flows with the wind. As he walks toward Mifune he elevates his head a little, sensing the calm breeze of the wind and the lovely warmth of the sun rays from the distant sun. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, pumping his body in order to start his vigorous training along side his friend. As he reaches a comfortable distance between him and Mifune, he smiles a little.

"Training hu? Haven't done that in ages"

Gin says, showing lack of enthusiasm when in reality, deep inside of him he is excited to embark in a new style, the infinity one sword style, which has been known to be able to decimate strong opponents in a short interval of time.

"Ready to get this done with? A special with Ketsuno Ana will soon be on TV"

*A faint smile appears on the golden haired Samurai's face as he hears his companion's banter. Without opening his eyes, he takes a moment to enjoy the pleasant weather for a tad bit longer.*

"I'll try not to waste your time."

*Mifune's sarcastic response is what prompts him to open his eyes, blue orbs directed at the setting sun for a moment.*

"Now, even for one such as yourself...I have methods I like to use when teaching the Infinite One-Sword Style, that I do not take lightly.

...

What is Kenjutsu to you? Why do you use a sword; what is the relationship between a sword and it's wielder?"

*The wind dies down, as if awaiting the silver-haired man's response; a single golden leaf flutters lightly, and lands on the water's surface, sending out small ripples before it is hurried downstream by the current.*

"Oi Oi Oi what's with the sarcasm I feel from you? And surely, as long as I am able to gain power to protect what is more precious to me, I will go through hell if necessary"

Gin then becomes silent as he is being asked the meaning of his sword, the reason he fights, and more importantly, the reason why he lives. That is what he heard anyways. The wind dies out, the cicadas that were cricking in the distance have ceased. It all have seemed as if it was the universe itself who wanted to know Gin's answer. Gin slowly puts his left arm inside his sleeve, and with a strong tone and fierce eyes, with the burning passion of his soul he responds.

"Kenjutsu is the beautiful art of using a sword. To objective of kenjutsu though, or in other words, the reason to hold a sword in your hand, is not to defend yourself from your weaknesses, nor cut your enemies down, but to protect your soul, to protect what you believe is more precious, being friends or country. What is a sword you say? A simpleton would say is just a tool to cut down people, though they are utterly wrong. A sword is nothing more but a extension of your soul...

*Gin grabs his bokuto with his left hand and extends it toward Mifune*

..and anything within the reach of my sword, is my country."

*Mifune grins - pleased - and nods his head as Gin finishes his statements.*

"Truly a Warrior. One worthy of the Infinite One-Sword Style. With this style, the reach of your sword is ever changing, and infinite. Everything shall become your country, and everything you want to protect shall never again be out of your reach."

*Mifune quickly grabs the straps that holds together the bundles of katana, and flings it upwards - the case moves quickly, and the swords are sent skyward; they come crashing down in a rain of steel, each blade landing with it's tip in the ground, their surface gleaming a golden red-orange, reflecting the evening sun.

Description: The user will throw into the air a large container of katana that are wrapped in some sort of cloth or wire in order to bind them for easy travel – while in the air, a seemingly endless number of katana will slide from their casing and scatter all across the battlefield to supply the user with swords to fight with no matter where they are; conversely, the swords can be summoned from scrolls in the same manner as Tenten’s weapons. This technique was created with the belief that a swordsman didn’t need a perfect sword, but rather, the ability to wield any sword with great skill. Each sword has a mechanism built into their hilt that allows only those who know how to use this technique to wield the swords. If someone with no knowledge of how to use this technique attempts to wield one of these blades, needles will extended from the hilt, much like how Samehada does. Due to this, the Infinite One-Sword Style not only assists the swordsman and his allies in battle, but also puts an extreme amount of psychological pressure on the opponent, due to the sheer number of blades.
*Only Musasibou, Akiza, and KeotsuEclipse can teach this.
*Can only be used once per battle.
*Only users of this technique may wield the swords.
This technique is demonstrated in the first 15 seconds of this video.

"The Infinite One-Sword Style makes use of a seemingly endless amount of blades, and is built on two principles: that you need a well-made sword, not some mystical weapon; and a skilled swordsman.

Try to lift one of the blades - though, I advise you to do it with your non-dominant hand."

As Mifune nods, Gin places his bokuto back on his right hip, adjusting it carefully so it doesn't fall. Mifune suddenly makes an abundant amount of katanas in every direction.

"Oh that's sweet..."

Gin though, realizes that everything that goes up tends to go down. A sword falls directly in his position. He pushes against the ground with his left foot, pushing him backwards as the swords fall. He makes small steps back as the swords fall, though by mistake he stumbles with a small rock behind him.

"Crap, I lost concentration..." He thought. A last sword falls between his legs, a couple of inches from his crouch. A facial expression of fear and relief comes in Gin's face.

"Hey what was that for you baka?! Trying to kill me and my Kin?" Said in anger.

Mifune tells him to grab the sword. Gin, angered by his friend's intention to kill him -As he thinks- grabs the sword in front of him with his right hand, with the intention of telling him what was that about kind of situation.

*Mifune watches as suddenly spikes extend from the hilt of the katana, forcing Gin to relinquish his grasp on the blade.*

"Forgive me, but it is a philosophical reminder built into the style - a sword may be a weapon indeed, but a warrior who uses it only as an instrument of war, and does not respect the blade, will eventually feel the bite of that blade.

This is to punish those who would abuse the way of the sword, as well as to show that among the one's who can use this style - the Warriors - there is a sense of unity; and it is this Unity, that gives us another tool to fight the Demons.

Now, look closely on at the swords near you; you'll notice several buttons on the hilts. The buttons are set to reject spikes from within the hilt if they are pressed in the incorrect order.

Watch, closely."

*Mifune then shows Gin the proper way to grab an IO katana so the mechanism doesn't engage.*

"It takes some getting used to, especially to be able to do it without a single thought in the heat of battle, so take some time to practice grabbing the blades, and doing so quickly."

Gin gets hurt by the sudden spikes that emerged from the sword, releasing it into the ground. After hearing Keotsu's words, he walks in front of a sword and crouches, carefully watching the handle. He sees the beauty of the design in the sword, and the buttons which activate the trap. He memorizes Keotsu's pattern explanation, creating an algorithm of different patterns on how to grab the sword. He slowly reaches for the sword, grabbing the handle...

*Mifune watches, as Gin grabs the sword successfully, the needles staying withdrawn within the hilt of the sword.*

"Excellent. Now, take some time to get the method down - you cannot stop to think about your hand placement in the midst of battle; it must be second nature.

Spend a few moments shifting through the five basic kata quickly, using a different sword for each stance; it should prove suitable for our training, once you can do so without discharging the needles."

*As Gin holds the katana without the spikes coming from it, he makes a visual representation in his head in order to remember the different patterns possible to hold the sword. He creates hundreds of algorithms in order to place his hand on the sword without having to deal with the needles.

Gin then puts the katana he first grabbed back into the ground, and begins his small training. With the memory of the different patterns, he grabs a sword at his right, and performs the Chudan Stance. After a quick swing, he drops it to walk to another sword, grabbing it and performing the Jodan Stance, which wasn't a major problem. He continues the same patern with Hasso, Waki and Gedan, all with pro-efficient work and no difficulty, as Gin was able to memorize with his incredible skill the hundreds of different patterns.

"Indeed, let's begin this journey"
"The first technique we'll be covering is the first ranged technique that was created for the Infinite One-Sword Style; Sword Fang. It's a brilliant technique: its designed so that the three swords you throw land behind the opponent's guard, so that they can't easily dodge the swords when you strike the base, creating a "slashing claw", without disarming themselves. Due to the sheer strength of the upwards strike from the claw, the opponent is going to be sent reeling backwards; that's where the second part of the technique comes in, which is actually a technique called "Vertical Line," that was added to "Sword Fang," which is technically only the portion of the technique that is the upward slash.

The Vertical Line portion is to ensure that pressure is maintained on the opponent; when the swords from Sword Fang are still in mid-air, you'll use the sword currently in hand to strike the base of each sword, propelling them through the air like bullets - they move at such high-speeds so quickly after the strike that sent the opponent flying, that all but the most skilled of warriors will be unable to parry these strikes.

This attack is fearsome; it allows you attack from range, potentially disarm your opponent, and keep pressure on - this is great for people who are too cowardly to fight you in close range, while also forcing them too.

And now, I shall demonstrate."

*Mifune then grasps a nearby katana by the hilt, and proceeds to quickly strike three of the surrounding blades, sending them flying skyward in a parabolic arc; the swords come speeding down to earth, a distance away from Mifune - however, as soon as he had launched the sword, he had blitzed in the direction he sent them, so that he's right behind the blades as they impale themselves into the ground.

Swinging his blade horizontally, and low across the ground, Mifune strikes each blade near the base, causing the swords to whip upwards, their edge rising skyward, as if like some sort of lever; as if a beast's claw swiped upwards; the hilts are positioned perfect: the three pommels are facing Mifune's chest, just level with his sternum, and his low horizontal strike has his sword out to his right side.

Swinging his blade quickly, he strikes the right most blade with a diagonal slash, propelling it forward. Quickly cutting upwards, he strikes the left most blade; and with his blade held skyward above his body, he brings it straight down, striking the middle blade, and propelling it as well, sending the three blades careening through the air, where they impale themselves several inches into a tree across the river, each only a few inches apart, and with each sword's edge facing the sky, at perfect angles.

Visions of the past flash through Mifune's mind, to a time during battle during which the technique was used...*

"Now, Gin...you attempt the technique, now that you've seen it preformed."
"Oi Oi, that was pretty neat"

Gin then focuses in what he just heard and saw, noticing the different body movements and sword swings in order to achieve the technique. Before trying to put it in practice, he makes a mental concept of how to perform it, making an abundant amount of try outs in his head as he figures the correct positioning.

When finally done with his calculations, Gin takes an IO sword from the ground with his left hand, grabbing it tightly as he synchronizes is breathing. He positions himself in front of three swords in front of him, and continues by slashing the three of them in such way, that they go airborne in a designed angle. The force of gravity will cause the swords to fall in a parabola, just in front of him, who follows behind the thrown swords. The swords fall in the ground, in an orderly manner.

Quickly, Gin swings his sword again low across the ground. The impact hits in the end of the swords (close to tip). Thanks to rotational momentum and torque, the swords rotate on themselves as they are elevated upwards. The swords at first seem to have gone up similar to that of a claw. The base of the swords are in level with Gin's sternum, with the tips facing a nearby three mid way from him.

As the swords are in mid air, Gin immediately continues by swinging horizontally from left to right toward the left most sword, propelling it forward. He continues by swinging right to left diagonally upward toward the middle sword, and with the same momentum he swings an upward swing to the last sword, sending them all propelling forward. The swords are hit in such speed, that it seems all of them were hit in unison. All of the swords strike the tree, impaling it.

"How is that?"

"Excellently done. You've preformed the technique marvelously. With that, we'll now move on to the next technique: Addition; one of the most fearsome techniques in the style, and one of the most powerful Kenjutsu techniques.

Addition is a fearsome attack that strikes the opponent with twelve blows, each done so quickly after the last that virtually no time exists to stop the onslaught; it will take all of your physical ability to preform this high-speed, and high powered attack.

It does put a high strain on your body, which is one of the reasons I wear as many weights as I do; by increasing my body load, I can simply remove my weight over time to help lessen the impact of the techniques on my body."

The user attacks the opponent a total of eleven times in rapid succession, each at different angles and positions. With each strike the sword is left behind attached to the opponent. He then lands the final blow, making a total of twelve devastating blows. This technique pins and hurts the opponent. The reason why the swords can be powerful and stay on the opponent is because the blunt of the blade is used. The attack itself relies upon the high speeds of the individual attacks and the momentary stun inflicted by the previous blows, allowing the user to grab one of the surrounding swords and continue with the technique. This attack when used and if added with multiplication will put a great strain on the user making him or her dizzy and very exhausted. This is a finishing combo and is to knock out the opponent.
Note: Only musasibou can teach this.
Note: Can only use twice per battle.
Note: The user cannot use this technique again for 3 turns.
Note: The user can only perform two attacks this turn, this is included to that tally.
Note: User can only use 2 moves next turn.
Note: User can not use genjutsu or taijutsu for 1 turn.
Note: This can be blocked to minimize damage. (-10)
The technique is from 3:20 to 3:40.

*Mifune begins by simply grabbing a near by katana, and faces a smaller tree near-by that will be used in place of a training dummy. Quickly rushing towards the stump, he rears his blade back to his left, with both hands, and slams the blade into the stump, using the back of the blade; as the blade makes contact, he quickly releases his grasp and reaches behind him, grabbing one of the near-by blades, and slashes again; again using the back of the blade, and striking the stump with a right-to-left diagonal slash; dancing around the trunk to his right, he grabs yet another sword, swinging with more diagonal strikes; when the second blade makes contact, he continues moving, grabbing a third.

Swinging horizontally, he grabs yet another blade upon releasing the previous on contact; with each strike, the blade is left behind, as if attached magnetically to the tree.

The fourth blade strikes home, diagonally again from right-to-left, which is quickly joined by a fifth blade slightly to it's left, in the same orientation; continuing to make his way around the stump, now directly behind it, he swings the blade almost horizontally, striking at a very steep angle at the mid-point of the stump; grabbing a seventh blade, he swings vertically downwards, leaving it handing from the tree.

Moving quickly, he continues on, grabbing an eighth, ninth, tenth, and elven blade, each striking the stump with the back of the blade, and at variable diagonal angles, each blade left behind with each strike; suddenly making a quick turn, having worked his way back to the front of the stump, having leapt backwards with a great bound in doing so, Mifune grabs one last, twelfth blade, and rushes towards the stump; he swings with a powerful two-handed strike, absolutely horizontal across the wooden object, creating a loud crack upon impact; the high-speed onslaught preformed at high speeds, at the instant the twelfth blow finally connects, the other eleven swords begin falling to the ground; indention are seen in the wood from where the back of each blade met the bark, and a deep crater where the twelfth blade struck; had the edge been used, the tree would have likely been cleaved in two.*

"This technique is a finishing move; it takes a good toll on your body to use it, but anything you hit with it likely won't stand back up to continue fighting. The initial strike is used with the back of the blade to deliver more stunning force, allowing you the slight split-second interval needed to continue; each blade is generally used with the back of the blade in order to increase the stun time...however, after the first blade, if you choose to use the edge for a more fatal attack, then that's possible as well.

Alright, Gin; try and preform it."

"Infinity One Sword Style is.... interesting"

Gin then, after analyzing the spectacular movement and the beauty of the technique, closes his eyes to think. He synchronizes his breathing as he memorizes where every single blade is in the battlefield. He then opens his eyes as he glazes at his target, a tree in the distance.

Gin then runs toward the target, and as he does so, he pulls a IO sword from the ground with his left hand with an inverse grip. When in sword reach, he rotates his body from left to right, striking the tree with the blunt side of the sword in an upward diagonal. Using the rotational momentum of his body, he proceeds by pulling a sword at hand with his right hand with a standard grip, slashing with the gained acceleration with a horizontal strike as he spins his body around.

A half a second after the second sword, Gin grabs another sword with his left hand as he spins to strike with the second. He uses his left foot in order to stop his rotation and pushes forward with his right foot in order to gain forward momentum, stepping forward as he strikes with the sword with diagonal downward slash, blunt side again. As he strikes downward, he elevates his right foot (the one which he used as a catalyst for forward movement), in order to with the hand guard of a sword with his ankle in an angle, elevating it toward Gin, and as this happen, Gin puts his right hand back (like Jodan Stance), in order to catch the sword, which he does successfully. Just as he catches it, he performs a downward slash with the blunt side, getting stuck in the tree as he passes it from its right side, Gin's right also.

Just as he moves back, with the hands pointing at the ground and stepping forward, he grabs two IO swords, one with each hand. As he grabs the swords, he uses his right foot as a pivot as he spins at great speeds toward his right. He slashes with the sword in his right hand with a diagonal upward slash with the blunt side. He continues spinning striking with the sword on his left hand, though he makes a slight jump after the first strike in order to spin in a horizontal panel, striking with force with a downward slash. He delicately lands on his right foot as he analyzes the area for other swords in the vicinity.

Just as he lands the 5th sword, he finds six swords close to him, and continues with his strikes. He grabs a sword with his right hand and strikes a diagonal right to left strike with the blunt side. As he hits, he moves forward, grabbing another sword with his left hand in an inverse grip. He continues by slashing left to right as he pushes from his left foot toward his right, landing another blow into the tree as he grabs another sword with his right hand. He uses his right foot in order to stop his momentum and uses his sudden stop as a countermeasure of his weight to slash with a diagonal downward slash from right to left, helping him gain balance as he grabs another sword behind him with his left hand. He grabs the sword and slashes with the blunt side in a vertically upward slash, landing on the tree as he steps with his right foot with great force in order to gain much more force. With his forward movement, he grabs another two swords with each hand, striking both at the same time against the tree with a horizontal strike. The strike and forward movement makes him finish behind the tree again.

"That makes eleven"

As he says so, he grabs the last sword with his left hand, spinning to face the tree. As soon as he faces the tree, he pushes with great force with his left foot in order to gain acceleration. He performs a horizontal strike with the blunt side again as he passes the tree. All swords sticking on the tree which later slowly start falling.

"I hope that was good enough"

"Indeed. That was spectacular. Come, rest for a moment...you'll want your full strength to preform what we're about to do..."

*Mifune says this as he tosses a bottle of water to Gin, waiting for a moment for the Silver-haired man to collect himself. Turning his gaze back to the setting sun, he feels the wind blow a refreshing gust, and fixes his eyes on the river; an infinite number of blades reflected, which in turn, reflect an endless number of setting suns....*

"Alright, Minato, the next thing we'll be moving on to is the only IOSS technique to utilize Genjutsu; Division. Despite being the Infinite One-Sword Style, wielding two blades is a key part of it; and against a skilled opponent, sometimes there won't be an opening to profit on your two blades; this technique allows you to do so.

It works best by using a diagonal slash; with your arm held in the diagonal position, they'll see your blade split as it comes down, coming from opposite directions, most likely a horizontal and vertical direction; this causes real problems for any swordsman, though -obviously- there are other ways to utilize it.

Then, with the opponent flustered, you reap the benefits and deliver a horizontal slash with your free sword to stun them, and then use the Genjutsu casting blade to stab them, finishing off the opponent.

I'll show you, though, it'll be more obvious after I've finished."

*Keotsu turns to the clone he had Minato create previously, and grasps two IO katana from near-by. Taking his blades and holding them by his sides, Keotsu rushes towards the clone; beginning by swing his left blade horizontally, he causes a burst of chakra which catches the clone in the Genjutsu (as in a sword fight, not looking at a sword, even with peripheral vision, is nearly suicide): to the clone, it appears as if the blade split into a high and low diagonal slash, coming from his lower right, from below his hip and above his shoulder.

Taking advantage of the momentary hesitation while he tries to discern which is the real blade, Keotsu slashes with his right blade, from right to left, cutting across the clone's hip, before - quickly - thrusting his left blade forward, into the sternum of the clone, while holding his right arm near his left shoulder, as not to impede his movement of doing such.

He then waits for the clone to disperse, transferring the knowledge of what it just experienced to Minato, and thus what the technique looked like.*

Description: The user will grab two katana and then rush at the opponent at high speeds. Using their chakra, as the user slashes at the opponent, they will cast a Genjutsu which makes it appear as if the user’s sword split into two blades as it approaches, confusing the opponent, and leaving them open for the real attack, which is the other blade. Using the other sword, the user very quickly strikes them across the chest with a horizontal strike, and then proceeds to stab them in the chest with their sword in a finishing blow. Done with Genjutsu, this technique allows the user to trick the opponent at critical times in order to gain the upper hand. This technique requires both high level Genjutsu and Kenjutsu skills to perform, and can be preformed from either the left-hand or right-hand side.
*Only Musashibou, Akiza, and KeotsuEclipse can teach this.
*Does not require the Infinite One-Sword Style set-up to have been used.
*Requires two swords to use.
*Can be used three times per battle.
*The user cannot use Genjutsu in the next turn.

*The clone poofs giving all the information of the technique just performed*

"I see Keotsu-dono, the technique consists on a feint performed by the left blade, which will ultimately be cast as the enemy will need to see the blade to counterattack. Then, by using that small time of interval between the opponent being confused, you slash with your right blade, and stabbed them with the left one as it's free of any rebound. It's a fearsome technique indeed, but I have seen through it"

Minato grabs two IO swords from the ground, and quickly analyze them. He then thinks on the genjutsu applied on his clone beforehand, and uses reverse engineering in order to find the secret on how to perform it. He then, with careful calculations, understand the way the technique works.

After finding a way to use the genjutsu, Minato quickly rushes toward Keotsu's clone, cutting the distance between each other in an instant. He channels chakra into the left blade as he strikes with a horizontal slash from left to right. The blade quickly liberates chakra into the clone's brain, casting him into a genjutsu. The genjutsu function is to confuse the opponent's senses, specially the sight, making him believe the sword has split into two.

As the genjutsu occurs, Minato stops his slash and prepares for a trust. At the same time, he slashes with the right blade from right to left in a horizontal manner, cutting the clone in the middle of the chest. As the clone awakes from the genjtutsu caused by the inflicted pain, Minato bashes forward, trusting the sword into the clone's sternum as he holds the clone's left shoulder with his right hand, binding him in place.

"How was that?"

"Oh right"

Minato proceeds by cleaning the sweat from his forehead. Then, he walks toward Keotsu, holding Keotsu's right shoulder with his left hand.

"Ready?"

Minato then instantly teleports to the tag placed on Gin beforehand. Gin instantly is surprised by their appearance. Minato sees Gin and Mifune sitting, using a tree as a way to cover from the intense sun and to have a place to recline.

"What! Minato, at least inform me when you are going coming"

"And how would I have done that, Gin-San?"

"Hrm... good point"

"So how is your training going?"

"So far so good"

Both of them then look at Keotsu and Mifune, who remain speechless.
