•The Konoha Chuunin pair board a boat to Mizu no Kuni (Land of Water) instead of crossing the Naruto bridge as it is under construction due to damage from a fight involving Konoha/Mizu shinobi several weeks ago

•The mist around the entrance of the village soon thickens around the pair as they ponder who was responsible

Izumo: (Shouting) Fuuton: Boufuu no Jutsu!

Description: Chakra infused wind is released from the mouth of the user as it quickly consumes the area with a powerful blast of wind capable of blocking oncoming attacks or enemies.

Narrator: Izumo leaps into the air and begins spinning as he blows a stream of wind from his mouth. Although, the jutsu was unable to clear out the mist entirely.

Kotetsu: (In thought) My turn!-(Shouting) Doton: Ryuuseiu no Jutsu!

Description: A huge meteorite-like boulder materializes in mid air which then shatters into smaller pieces and is aimed at the intended target(s).

Narrator: As Izumo lands back onto the ground near his partner, Kotetsu then unleashes the large boulder that formed several feet above him as it broke into pieces. This jutsu is used in combination with the windstorm to strengthen its impact and havoc begins to reek over the surrounding area. Several cries of the enemy can be heard in the chaotic storm.

Izumo: (Whispers) It appears as though we were successful..

Kotetsu: So it seems-

Izumo: But because this land is naturally misty-my jutsu was unable to eliminate it completely..

Narrator: Both shinobi then released their techniques as various bodies fall to the ground battered and without movement.

Izumo: I suppose they attacked thinking we were the enemy?

Kotetsu: Maybe..

Izumo: We need to make a report of this..

Narrator: A summary of what had occurred is noted and Kotetsu then summons a falcon via the scroll Tsunade provided in case of an emergency as he fastened it onto the bird. It is then directed to the Mizukage's headquarters.

Izumo: No we can continue..

Narrator: Izumo took out the gem shard as they began walking deeper into the village but suddenly a barrage of shuriken hit the two Konoha shinobi.

Enemy 1: Damn it!..They were clones

Description: The user creates a clone made of wind using air as a median. This clone is unique as if struck, the wind breaks apart and attacks anyone nearby with sharp blasts.

Description: The user creates a clone made of rock which is done by expelling earth from their mouth. Unlike other clones, the rock clone does not disappear when attacked but rather breaks apart.

Kotetsu: (Whispers) You were right..

Narrator: As a cautionary measure, Izumo suggested to release a clone of themselves in case there were more enemies involved.

Izumo: (Shouting) We have permission to enter your village!

Enemy 2: (Shouting) Its in our nature!-

Enemy 3: (Shouting) You're at our mercy!

Kotetsu: (Whispering) Maybe we'll get a nice reward from Mei if we bring these in alive *giggle*

Izumo: (Whispers) Be serious-

Eenemy 3: We're a few men down because of you-

Enemy 3: But we who remain are the best!

Izmuo: (Whispering) You know what you have to do-

Kotetsu: (Whispering) Yes..

Narrator: Having figured out that due to the mist, they'd be supseptable to any oncoming attack thus they stand back to back with clutched fists. Wind is then gathered before Izumo acting as a shield and mud erupts from the ground upwards blocking Kotetsu which creates a continuous flowing pillar as the pair stand their ground.

Name: Fuuton: Yasei Reppuu no Jutsu (Wind Release: Wild Gale Technique)
Classification: Ninjutsu

Description: This technique creates continuous swirls of gale winds that can act as a defense or an attack. Depending on the users chakra will determine whether how much wind is created.

Description: This technique causes a continuous flow of mud to erupt from the ground up in an act of defense. Oncoming attacks are absorbed once there is contact with the mud. If there is no Earth in which to use from, the user can create the mud needed. Depending on how much chakra used, the user can increase the amount of mud to a degree that can conceal any of the user's openings.

Narartor: A few moments later, arrows made of water abruptly unleash towards the Konoha pair.

Description: The user emits continuous water projectiles that have taken a solid characteristic thus making it sharp from their hand.

Narrator: This attack is however countered by Izumo and Kotetsu. Although, in the beginning it seems they have perfect coverage; the enemy then motions the arrows in different directions in an attempt to insure a hit.

Kotetsu: Dame!

Narrator: However, both are able to increase their defensive techniques which covers themselves completely.

Kotetsu: (Whispering) They're costing us our chakra reserves-

Izumo: (Whispering) Continue to bide as their reserves are also depleting..

Enemy 3: (In thought) Shit! They won't budge!!

Narrator: Mist once again thickens the area.

Izumo: (Whispering) See! It is working-they have already begun to attack us close range-(In thought) Now!

Narrator: As a result to his awareness, Izumo then forms hands seals and directs his attack onto one of the foes who comes into range having neared their location and began to pacing around them within the mist searching for a weak spot.

Description: The user gathers air and creates a prison-like confinement to enclose the intended target; including themselves if wanted. How long the fortress remains active depends on how much chakra is used.

Izumo: That honor goes to a former squad leader..

Narrator: Their plan almost completes with Izumo's target captured and as Kotetsu readied himself against the remaining opponent, several lump-like masses of lava abruptly land around them.

Name: Youton: Yougan Katamari no Jutsu (Lava Release: Lava Lump Technique)
Classification: Kekkei Genkai, Ninjutsu

Description: The user releases several globs of lava of various sizes at the target. The technique can also be manipulated to block doors and narrow exits using the hardening process of lava to prevent a target from escaping.

Mei: My my...I received your message and decided to come out myself to greet you both..

Kotetsu: (In thought) Ah..So beautiful-

Mei: I apologize for the trouble these criminals caused

Narrator: She said; seductively wiping off the dripping lava from her lips.

Kotetsu: There is absolutely no reason for you to apologize Mizukage-sama..

Narrator: Izumo's face cringes at the sound of his partners words.

Izumo: (In thought) Look at who has a crush now..

Mei: The crime level has escalated recently and these professional criminals were able to delude us time and time again-they've taken advantage of being citizens and used that privilege to reek havoc, steal, murder and have it appear as though it was outsiders. You two can back away a clear distance from here now as I will take care of the rest-

Izumo: Right!

Kotetsu: Of course..

Mei: Come with me now and don't add a resisting charge..

Enemy 2: (In thought) No!

Enemy 3: (In thought) Dammit!

Narrator: After having briefly thought of the risks, they decide to chance an escape.

Mei: (In thought) Fools!-(Shouting) Youton: Kazanbai no Jutsu!

[Jutsu Insight]

Name: Youton: Kazanbai no Jutsu (Lava Release: Volcanic Ash Technique)
Classification: Kekkei Genkai, Ninjutsu
Type:

Class: Offensive, Supplementary

Description: A gaseous stream made up of demolished rock and glass is released through the mouth. The gas is able to spread and envelop an area quickly. If this substance is inhaled, the result could be breathing problems and prolonged breathing can be fatal. The user is immune to the technique.

Narrator: Refusing to head her words, the Godaime Mizukage angers to such an extent that she unleashes a technique in which would do away with their lives. Within seconds, their location is plunged with the toxic gas as the enemies are quickly affected and fall to the ground. With a flick of her finger, two guards appear behind her having been given the order to stay back while she checked out the situation are then alerted to move the corpses.

Mei: I do apologize to you two for having troubled you in anywa-

Kotetsu: Please Mizukage-sama..

Mei: There is no need for the praise though I appreciate it

Kotetsu: Right-

Izumo: (In thought) That idiot..

Mei: I may be able to help you both in locating the item that Tsunade-sama desires..

However, I have used a few anime/manga moves e.g. Mei’s unnamed Lava Lump Technique to which I gave a name-kinda fits that sexy beast, ne? xd Thank you for complimenting my moves which I take pride in ^.^ I can’t wait to release the next chapter. The very first thing I noticed was that you went from green and blue to just red on the coloring for the names on Izumo and Kotetsu, and with just one time coloring Izumo's name green. I found that a bit strange and thought I would mention itxd

Anyways, battle already and you managed to turn it interesting even if it wasn't a big one. For some reason it kind of reminds me of the two Chunnins Naruto and Sasuke fought before Kakashi dealt with them, in the beginning of the Zabuza arc. Like someone above me mentioned, great work describing the jutsus!

About the chapters lengths so far. Normally I would say that they might be a bit short, but for some reason, I think the style of this FF fits with short, but many chapters.

Obviously I won't be able to match the post I posted on chapter 1 in this one, but I still feel like saying you've done an excellent job so far. Keep going!

I am again pleased to hear that I have provided accurate personalities for the two main protagonists ^.^ Thank you I can definitely elaborate-Izumo was shown to have Suiton element and Kotetsu thus far hasn’t been shown to have an affinity (which saddens me as he is my favorite out of the two -_-). So I have bestowed the non-cannon Wind element onto Izumo and Earth to Kotetsu lol It would have been nice if they indeed possessed that but oh well lol You will have to wait for next chapter indeed but I thought adding Mei into the story would be epic as I love her! I’m sorry to hear about your pc and your hunch was spot on as I am already done with the entire story xd I will however continue to edit upon any constructive criticism. I apologize for the red coloring as I realized too late that I sent the link with highlight in the coding to multiple readers -_- However, the mistake has been exposed and should not happen for the following chapters.
