Also Itachis susanoo would be sealing Edos left and right and so would pein taking peoples souls.

Tobi's s/t is unstoppable and instant. 3rd raikage isn't instant fast. So he CAN'T counter tobi's s/t

With all respect, it wouldn't just be a fight against the edos. The main objective is Kabuto and can easily be taken with the abilities akatsuki has.

The tag team of Peins pull that he used on Kakashi and Itachi's totsuka is really great.

Edit: Not to get too much into scenario, but that is a very probable combination between the two.
I'm just saying that Akatsukis combined abilities are great to counter Kabuto and edo tensei

Only problem is current kabuto even by himself, is either on oro in his prime or mightve even surpassed him, meaning only nagato, tobi, itachi, sasori and possible kisame can beat him. But these 5 are the strongest in akatsuki and akatsuki will need everyone to even hold their own against the edo's. They cannot allow one person to go after kabuto, espeically any of the top5 because they are needed. Similarly akatsuki cannot let 2 weak members, lets say hidan and zetsu to go after kabuto because he would defeat them with ease

The only person that can get away from Tobis s/t is Minato because FTG is INSTANT teleportation. Which means INSTANT escape from s/t. Kabuto and every other edo lacks INSTANT teleportation.

On that note I have to get off. Kabuto is taken by Tobi and dealt with appropriately.

In a fight between Kabuto and the original Akatsuki, I'd say Akatsuki would win simply because of the fact Tobi could use his sharingan on Kabuto and force him to make the hand seals to end edo tensei, then pretty much any of the Akatsuki team would kill him. However this would be a problem if Kabuto lied to Tobi about how to stop the technique and "That Jutsu".
