Well technically they can't be the next Sannin because Hanzo is dead, who invented the title in the first place. But I suppose the current Sannin could pass the titles to the apprentices. But it wouldn't be official as Orochimaru and Jiraiya are dead, and Tsunade wouldn't pass the Sannin title of Oro to Sasuke because she wants him in a body bag or something.
But the 3 students [Naruto Sakura and Sasuke] have all pretty much surpassed their teachers.

Actually, Sakura is destinated to surpass Tsunade at some point, although we may only see it in epiloque.

Whenever sakura shows a OP medic jutsu like tsunade's (genesis rebirth) and whenever she gets chakra reserves as huge as tsunade's then she'll surpass tsunade.
In future, that is. It was foreshadowed in manga.

Notice they both said "may surpass" they didn't say "will surpass" one thing is for sure unless sakura gets some senju DNA she's not going to have even half of tsunade's chakra reserves. And tbh she has been turning into just a side character now that the attention is on naruto and sasuke.
A couple of two things:
1. Main theme of this manga is new generation > old generation
2. Sakura is like direct succesor of Tsunade, her apprentice
When you add this to Kakashis and Chiyos words (foreshadowings) it seems clear that Sakura sooner or later will be stronger than Tsunade. Considering her rapid growth during time skip, I would say that around age of 25 Sakura can be already stronger than Tsunade.
Once again, a couple of two things:
1. Tsunade has seal, in which she can storage chakra and use it when its needed. Sakura can simply learn that technique.
2. Like Kakashi said, Sakura is Genjutsu type, she can exploit that potential.
So what? Everybody knows that Kishimoto treats his female characters like crap, same can be said about Tsunade. That doesnt change the fact that Sakura is main heroine of this manga.

The thing is tsunade is part senju like i said before let's say sakura somehow learns that technique it would take her years to have the same amount of chakra tsunade has..i mean tsunade healed almost the whole freaking village. As for the genjutsu part imo the highest she'll be able to achieve will be at kurenai's level.
Only, Tsunade is not like direct succesor of Hashirama, she wasnt his apprentice etc. She wasnt born with Mokuton, her potential was on completely different level to begin with. Its different with Sakura, who was said to have potential to surpass Tsunade by both Kakashi and Chiyo, persons who knows what they are talking about. So yeah, its pretty clear that Sakura will surpass Tsunade. And considering her rapid growth during time skip it wont take that long.
1. Tsunade is Senjuu descendant, but she was never said to have huge stamina.
2. Tsunade could storage that chakra for years.
3. Sakura is still young, her chakra is still growing.
4. Somehow? Considering Sakuras excellent chakra control it shouldnt be too difficult for her to learn that.
Which is pretty damn high level, since she was Jounin mainly becuase of Genjutsu. Not to mention that she was able to stall Kisame with it. Such ability combined with OHKO strengh would be trully dangerous.

Kakashi once thought he could take oro did he knew what he was talking about? No. As we know sasuke had sharingan and naruto is a jinchiruki what does sakura have beside chakra control? Also naruto and sasuke already surpassed their "teachers" and sakura hasn't yet?
She obviously has senju DNA in her that alone boosts her stamina by a lot.
Also we don't know what type of jutsu tsunade uses or if she could even teach it.
That wouldn't be enough to deal with any of the current enemy shinobi.
Besides we don't know if the manga will end with this war arc and if it does the "possibility" of sakura surpassing tsunade is gone.

Lol? Who is talking about "deal with any of the current enemy shinobi"? We are talking about Sakura surpassing Tsunade, two completely different things.
This is the last arc, but most probably Kishimoto will give us some kind of epiloque that will take place some years later to show how Naruto & company matured etc. BTW. I dont know why you used quotation marks, since its clear that she will.

Because is not a fact that she will U_U Its just speculation until we actually seen her surpass tsunade just as we have"seen" in the manga how naruto surpassed jiraiya with a better sage mode and how sasuke surpassed oro with MS.
