Konan has the oddest and most unfeasable abilties.

Konan as we all know is the childhood companion of nagato, and was very good at origami for reasons that we do not know, maybe its not important but whatever.

How can konan develop a jutsu that manipulates paper? when paper is not an element in the slightest. yes there are some people who think it comes from wood element, it could be true it might not be.

Maybe because wood is a combination of earth and water that konan simply has to use more earth than water when combining her elemental recompositions.

If konan can manipulate paper just coz she enjoyed making origami does that mean a ninja can make a jutsu based on their enjoyment of stamp collecting?

My personal conclusion is that kishi just wanted to make a unique character but did not actually think of a feasable and simple way of making it easy to understand.

But what is your opinion?

choji giga he enjoyed drawing when he was a kid.....he made a jutsu based on his drawings.

nope, she has wind element. Konan Nagato and Yahiko learned how to fuse their 3 elements as far as i know. later on she maybe learned how to controll paper with wind just like gaara controlling sand. Gaara has wind property, so based on ur reasoning his abilities too come from playing in sandbox too much?... i dont think so

no one made anything they simply learned justsu that fit there style. like naruto learning resengan it fits him well or sasuke learning chidori fits him very well

To be honest, i don't think Kishi really put much thought into it, Just thought up a unique character, and wanted a girl in the akatsuki, but who knows, maybe his explanation didn't make sense so he didn't put it in? Besides, most of the naruto world doesn't make any sense.. anyway (one good example is the whole thing with sasori, how could someone function, think, and talk without a brain and make facial expressions if he was just a puppet?)
And if she could use wood release, or some form, i don't think Zetsu would be needed, there would be alot more indication, or at least Kishi would have mentioned something

but konan had no ninja skills when she was using origami... how could she possibly be able to understand how paper jutsu works if she wasnt even a ninja then?

Nope. Gaara is definitely wind element. Look it up
