Kakashi cannot beat kakuzu.

It was stated the Hidan's weapon is just to get blood and don't think they will let him just run to the side to kill them. Either way I think they'd still win but this area is definitely not to their advantage at all.

To be fair, he had no knowledge of Hidan, which is almost a must when it comes to beating him. With knowledge, I think Asuma would handle him rather easily. Any halfway intelligent/decent CQC fighter would, with knowledge. They would know to play defense instead of going all in right away. Plus, even without knowledge he and Shika technically defeated Hidan..then Kakuzu sewed his head back on.

Kakashi can hold off Kakuzu long enough til Asuma finishes Hidan. Together Kakashi and Asuma can take down Kakuzu with mid difficulty.

This all depends on knowledge, though, and given team 1 has it, it goes to team 1, IMO.

Hmmm, well I guess Hidan is retarded. Personally, I think Kakuzu would finish Kakashi then go help Hidan, or defeat Asuma depending on whether Hidan is already done for. I think Kakashi would have trouble even hitting a kamui with those weird heart-beasts flying around anyway. It's a tough one.
