Personality: He is a very kind and light-hearted kid, making jokes at times but for the most part just nice. He takes everything said very directly, so sarcasm doesn't really work with him. He knows when it's time to be serious. What other people say does not bother him, unless those people are particularly close to him. He does not get angry ever unless one of his friends gets hurt, and his rage is controlled. He is very calm and speaks in a light non-harsh voice that is enjoyable to hear.

Background Info.
History: Katumi's Mom died in birth, and his father was assassinated 2 months previously, so Katumi was born into this world an orphan. Adopted by his Uncle, a veteran Jonin who was obsessed with statues, he became fascinated with them too. They lived a life of small social contact in a secluded area. At the age of 8, Katumi's new father took him with him on a journey to a village on the far reaches of Konohagakure, to attend a philosophical debate, which was by walking a month long journey. it was during this month that Katumi witnessed his first encounter with jutsu, when they were ambushed by hidden mist ninja. His uncle told him to stand back, and then in 2 flashes of lightning, both attacking ninja were incapacitated. This is what causes Katumi to be interested in the life of a ninja. His uncle informs him that he wishes against this, and that he fled the ninja world in order to escape the nature of ninja and wars itself, power and revenge. Katumi, being to stubborn to be wavered, made a promise to never seek power or vengeance, and to always seek the good in people. The following year they moved to the Fire Village, and Katumi's life as a young ninja began.
