Here Itachi is seen with Susanoo activated but no MS nor sharingan in his eyes.

Here Madara is seen with Susanoo activated but with rinnegan.

I think Susanoo is some form of izanami where the user takes their imagination/spiritual form and then administers physical/vitality energy to Susanno. This is why Susanoo looks different depending on the user's imagination/spiritual form. Tsukuyomi= imagination + spritual Amaterasu= physical + vitality you must have both techs in order to use Susanoo. I think once activating MS you can use Susanno without MS being turned on.

I don't have any valid proof this is just a thought i had when looking at Iatchi's eyes when he used Susanoo on Sasuke. You could argue he was going blind but if his eyes lost it's light then how was he able to use MS tech Susanoo

That's a good point. But I think it requires that you activate them at least one point in time during a battle. Itachi had his activated, but he went blind by the time he was using Susano'o. Same with Madara, he had his EMS activated used Susano'o then progressed to the Rinnegan.

Madara still has the EMS, thus you do need to have them activated, he just progressed it to his Rinnegan. It was never said that by activating his Rinnegan, he deactivated his EMS.

In the first picture Itachi is almost blind hence why his eyes are bland. Madara is the only one to achieve Rinnegan via progression of EMS so we can only conclude getting Rinnegan this way will allow the user to possess EMS techniques and Rinnegan techniques at the same time.

Yeah I get what your saying but going by your logic can he use Amatersu and genjutsu without deactivating his rinnegan? I know that hasn't been shown yet just like to know your opinion.

Well, I can only assume he can because thus far he is the only person to unlock Rinnegan this way and he has been able to use another EMS technique (Susanoo) without deactivating his Rinnegan. So logically I presume he can use Amaterasu aswell (whilst maintaining his Rinnegan form).

itachi bcz he is becoming blind
madara bcz rinnagan is after EMS which means he can use susanoo just like how MS and EMS can use normal sharingan's ability

valid point but as long as you activate it won't deactivate without the user's consent or the user dying xd

This

And if Susanoo were a form of Izanagi, Sasuke and Itachi would habve lost their vision. So would Edo Madara

"Tsukuyomi= imagination + spritual Amaterasu= physical + vitality"

...or maybe Tsukuyomi=Chakra/ Amaterasu=Chakra...

Then why did Sasuke Susanoo start to vanish the moment he felt blindness?
