Shino Vs. Sasori

but anyway lol i think shino would win! why? because other than the fight he had with zaku, his actual body has never been physically hit (that we know of). he's always hiding behind bug clones. true sasori has over 100+ puppets with kekkei genkai, so isn't it strange that he didn't use any of the fodder puppets' kekkei genkai? so we don't know exactly which kekkei genkais he has. therefore, i don't think ppl can speculate this to be in his arsenal simply because we haven't seen it. (other than 3rd kazekage) :shrug:
another thing. shino has prior knowledge of how puppet masters work, from his fight with kankuro. so i'd even say he's better prepared for this fight...
and another thing [lol] it really wouldn't matter if sasori jumps to another body because the bugs will follow the "scent" [only work i could think of to describe it] of his chakra.

much like when they swarmed tobi, and he disappeared. so i'm sure they'd follow sasori, because he doesn't change at the speed of a teleportation jutsu
and also. it's not the puppets that would be shino's actual target. as long as sasori still uses his chakra strings, the bugs would destroy them, thus rendering his puppets useless
and while he's too focused on shino, bugs would be creeping up from the back -____- too easy.
i don't think sasori was exactly a genius in battle...but more of a genius when it came to puppets

there is still poison spray for sasori and we know sakura agility>shino agility
and with iron sand world shino is dead

Sasori is extremely powerful, packs Hiruko, 100 puppets, the third Kazekage along with his Iron Sand, and his own puppefied body which means going against him 1v1(or 1v 103) would would prove to be too much for almost anyone. However, we've seen that Shino can disable a puppet master fairly well, which means he might be a nightmare match up for Sasori. I think the victor is hard to determine, but the big question here would be do they have specific knowledge on each others abilities and weaknesses? If so, Shino could definitely come close, though his biggest problem would be breaking Hiruko to get a direct hit on Sasori's innards.
Also it's worth noting that, Sasori controls even his actual body the same way he controls his other puppets; with chakra. And with since Shino's bugs feast on chakra, it seems plausible that Shino could completely prevent Sasori from even moving, in which case he'd be completely f*cked.
After all this, I'd say it's awefully hard to figure out who would come out on top, but whoever did manage would not do so without extreme difficulty.
Also it's worth noting that, Sasori controls even his actual body the same way he controls his other puppets; with chakra. And with since Shino's bugs feast on chakra, it seems plausible that Shino could completely prevent Sasori from even moving, in which case he'd be completely f*cked.

Ok let me put my 2 cents in....both of these characters are underestimated on NB, and I like them both (Shino more)....but I have to give this one to Shino.
Why?: Shino is at the advantage not in numbers but in techs...he can stop puppets from moving (including Sasori), he can block weaponry with his bugs, and above all his bugs eat chakra the key component of puppet jutsu (strings heart...etc) without theses Sasori would fall
But it won't be easy mid-high difficulty

but even without that Sasori has to have time to summon those and if the bugs jam the chakra thread thing in his chest then the 100 puppets are of no use....
The bugs of the aburame are said to constantly evolve to become stronger so the next gen can survive the techs the previous gen breed into them (ie crystal, fire...etc )
And the bugs only live a week or so. Meaning that they are constantly reproducing....
So in conclusion....Shino for president....lol

Why would he not win? Shino's bugs were fast enough to encase tobi the only reason he got away was thanx to t/s tech....and if we are giving all we have seen of each of them in one of the movies Shino had his bugs eat metal ships I mear seconds so that long list of puppets means nothing...

The same way they got thru the crystal, and the slime in the 3 tail arc, the wax from the bee clan, and if I'm not mistaken konon used fire against the aburame....or simply move the bugs like Sakura and chiyo did
