Minato can't deflect explosions I don't believe and deidara can fly high in the air with his clay bird so Idk if minato can throw his Kunai that high up or it even be effective seeing as how deidara can blow the bird up when he's up there leaving minato to fall on the ground from very high with no ftg

I don't think he can deflect explosions because it's not jutsu it's just released energy and I don't think you can move energy outside of its natural flow because there's nothing to attach the seal to

he just needs to throw a kunai with that formula and use FTG to put the mark on him so even if deidara starts to fly he cant escape from minato.
and he doesn't even need to throw the kunai the formula can move and crawl to deidaras feet and its over.

No that's different you can attach a seal to a bijuu bomb because it's physical you can't attach a seal to energy which is what an explosion is

Minato doesn't need to attach a seal to it to teleport it. He has a Space-Time barrier that does the same, and can transport massive attacks.

Really, Deidara doesn't stand a chance. I'm am without a doubt a Minato fanboy. However, I'm a "fanboy" of pretty much every semi-important character in the series, so that's not saying much.
Y'all saying that Deidara would win by killing himself, which Minato could easily get away from via FTG, isn't correct in my opinion. Sure, as an Edo, he stands a better chance, but Minato knows a bunch of sealing techs according t Kushina.
