naruto would have won the chuunin exams

now that i think about it, back then naruto should have been able to win the chuuin exam...when the exams got interrupted naruto already beat neji, his next opponent would have been the sauce or gaara...gaara showed himself to be a powerful foe but naruto manage to beat, sasuke at that point was in no way stronger than naruto, in fact he lost against gaara initial bijuu form....so those 2 were the only people who would have given naruto a fight back then, the rest im sure werent going to beat naruto
now when u look at it, naruto was the person who had the highest probability to win the chuunin exams but he would still not be promoted into one

And he was only able to do that with Gaara because he was protecting Sakura and Sasuke. Not sure if he would be able to pull it off in a normal tournament battle. But like Gatsuuga said we will never know.

naruto probably wouldnt have beat gaara without the sakura being in danger pushing him to fight harder. maybe but i dont think so. other than that yeah he would have owned.

Well he may have a speed advantage over those Shikamaru and Shino but I think Shino's bugs and Shikamaru's brain would have leveled the playing field a bit. And I also not saying that Shikamaru and Shino would win outright, no problem. I just think that it would have been a possibility. Or at least with Shino since Shika technically lost when he fought Tenmari.

he had summonings forget about the pushing him to limit part he could beat any one in the exam no one had summoning power like him and kyubi chakra too wic he learned to use

He was an idiot though, dont think he couldve beat shino, temari, sasuke or gaara. People seem to be forgetting that although shikamaru totally owned temari he technically forfeited and therefore wouldnt get a chance to face narutio.
