And I still managed to drool.

ODDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Thy art my hero!

Omg I can't believe this. For the people who didn't know it yet at a certain point a long time ago Oda made several short stories. One of them was about a samurai that was able to slay a dragon in the country of Wano...and the name of that samurai was Ryuuma =DD yes it was the guy who Gecko Moria revived as a zombie and on top of it all he looked a lot like Zoro.

Now Zoro is on an island with a dragon with Ryuuma's sword while there are possibly other samurai from the country of Wano running around ^x^

My prediction is that the dragon might see Zoro as Ryuuma or something :p

Amazing Oda, truly amazing U_U

Poor Usopp...and lol @Smoky, he almost figured out Luffy's set of mind...though he didn't take into account that everything related to Luffy never goes according to any kind of logic.

Nami has a new bikini <3

Go Robin, strip some more <3

Lots of fan service for Lili too _O-
Roey, get out of my head!!! How can you think exactly the same as me?
I was going to post that prediction too, though now I have to go read Oda's early works to see more similarities. Btw, wasn't Ryuuma introduced as a samurai of the Wado country? Why is Zoro asking what a Samurai is?

And I love the fanservice... God Zoro, take more clothes... If Robin can get on her panties, so can you.

I find Luffy's expression in the last panel quite weird as he already had seen the dragon in the panel before and it's so un-Luffy like to get such an expression in such a situation.

Even though it seems that the dragon is speaking normally, I wonder if in fact it's just Luffy hearing it just like he heard the Sea Kings?
Either way I still find that flustering look of Luffy weird as normally Oda draws that look when they realized something.
Nice catch! But we've seen his whole life already... Unless Oda pulls out a random event claiming he just didn't show us, I'm guessing that if Luffy did realize something, it would be either from his past, prior to 8 years old, or from the time skip. I'm leaning towards < 8

Punk..
Punk..
Vegapunk ?

and one half of the island with a winter climate and the other half one fire. 2 dragons ? one ice and one fire or maybe 2 admirals ? 1 ice and 1 fire 0.o ?

Oh and do you still remember Iceburg looking for a new secretary a couple of years ago?

Nice catches!! Oda never forgets. Never.

As for the Punk, you think there's a relation? I don't think there will be a direct relationship, as in, we won't see Vegapunk himself, mainly because Franky is not within the advanced platoon. But I don't see them just standing iddly by, specially since Nami already started to get suspicious, and Smoker is heading there. So, in that line of tought, we could be introduced to Vegapunk or at least get a very strong clue on where he is. I need to meet him ASAP.

As for Akainu and Aokiji, I don't think that's the case. I'm fairly sure the island was a winter island originally. I'm also fairly sure that the WG went there to preform experiments. What they were trying to find out, I don't know. It could be that they tried to implement Vegapunk's childhood idea of creating a heater for his island, but it got out of control (Or maybe the WG tried to use those plans to make a weapon, and that's why it got out of control. I like that theory better, as it supports mine that Vegapunk is not bad, and is being held captive by the WG/is a spy for the Revs). And in the confusion, they created/attracted a dragon. I may expand upon this theory later.

I like this idea, this may be the island where Akainu and Aokiji fought? Interesting, although I'm not sure we'll ever see that island :p.

As for the Dragon = Big Mam, No. And if it's a zoan type, I highly doubt that as well. I think that it possibly is going to communicate with Luffy through his new power, and possibly Luffy will learn something about his power in the next few chapters. I'm expecting a lot of story in this arc, and not much fighting.

Possibly a new sword for Zoro as well? Considering this is the Samurai island. That would give him 3 of the highest grade swords possible.
Nah, no sword...

great great great chapter.
Ussop not looking as manly now. And Luffy being himself.

Nami is way more useful now thanks to that road she can create.

Also i think i am getting the anime and manga mixed up, but haven't they already seen dragons? That may have been a filler episode before the grandline.

Dare you say on more bad word about Nami, and I'll see your tong stitched to the back of your throat!

Btw, something that I really liked about this chapter is that Zoro and Robin had freedom to show their relaxed personalities. They were talking and participating a lot, they starred in the chapter, and it was quite phenomenal. Several members are just naturally charismatic, like Luffy, Usopp, then Nami, Sanji, Chopper. Luffy just stands out anywhere he goes, and Usopp tends to follow right trough. Chopper shines because he is cute, and acts as the young brother that follows and mimics his elder simblings everywhere. Nami has multiple interactions with everyone, and she's out there, either being bossy or shocked. Sanji shines too, bickering with Zoro, then charming the ladies.

The others seem a bit washed up. Zoro shines in battles, and by being a general badass, but I miss old Zoro, just relaxed, interacting with everyone, laughing aloud. His interactions with the crew are mostly some snotty retort to Sanji, but it's gets a bit bland after a while. I think this chapter brought back some of the old Zoro that I really like, and hope it continues like this. Brook appears a lot with comedic intakes (Le Skull Joke) but I believe he fails to connect with all the crew. What saves him is that he came from being alone after he revived, so it's a good character development that he shows himself as a little bit separated from the group, progressively gaining confidence and bonding. It was the same with Robin, when she first arrived. We could see the character development as she began threating the straw hats by their names instead of epithets. Although she is really quiet, she still has charisma, and sort of interacts once in a while. We can see her with Nami most of the times. Franky is the worst of all, in that area. He has the SUPER-trait but apart from that, Franky is a very bland character, and he doesn't have that much of a reason to be like that, apart from being alone in his age group. Now that I analyze the situation, Jinbei would have been a good acquisition, as it would improve the dynamic of the crew.

So, in summary: I loved that this chapter allowed Robin and Zoro to show their personality and interact with everyone and I wish Oda does the same with Brook and especially Franky, because I'm not seeing the character development.

whoa whoa whoa there Lili. You're gonna make me cry here. I think nami is one of the most important characters in the series. She has common sense, and she is the Navigator. Without her they wouldn't be alive. also i have noticed that in zoro's behavior. Not egotistic but he's a bit darker. More fierce as he use to be. Brooke is way more loyal now too. always talks everyone up as well.

Or maybe he'll get frustrated and wear the mask for good luck.
