I mean im trying it out, but for some reason, the marquee tool doesnt want to co-operate with me, and isn't letting me fill out the edge

hmm ok press like a random tool like click on the paint brush...then click no the image as if you're trying to paint it...a sign will come up saying blabla rasterize image...just press 'ok' then it will work fine

Just so you guys know, i suggest making the corners boxes, saving it as a .png, then open that .png file into photoshop or whatever you use. THEN add the borders. THAT WAY, it will end up looking like this xD
