Is Kabuto really?

In my opinion (there goes that word again) I think that kabuto is really Orochimaru's most and first fully complete edo and that he is being controlled by Oro bc if you look at him closely he looks to be fallen apart like the other edos. Don't think so? well take a look at exhibit A

Now granted he is looking more and more like a snake and oro, but his skin is cracking all over as if it were rotting off. What do you think NB?

Pretty extreme theory. Especially since we know Kabuto has a way better understanding of the tech than Oro did. When it comes to the lines on his face, they are scaly lines like on a snake, not an edo.

And how could Oro have made an edo of Kabuto while he was still alive? We know what kabuto looked like even after Oro was incapacitated.

now that you mention it after looking at the pic he does look like an edo tensei. first i thought that it was his snake scales but the scales look different. that might be the reason orochimaru conducted so many experiments on kabuto.

No, I think it's still kabuto but I actually think Orochimaru may come out of him, I'm not ruling it out.

Kabuto being an Edo Tensei has ran over my mind for couple of times.

He needed Anko to amp the effects of Edo. Kabuto said his chakara alone wasn't enough to control everything that's going on. He had to extract Oro's chakara from her or something.

i think its more along the lines of oro still has dna inside of kabuto (similar to how he was inside sasuke for a time) and is battling kabutos body for control. Some keep saying the cracks look like edo tensei, but they also look like something else...the bodies that oro used as skin to make him immortal (so to speak) from back in the old naruto. There was even a lengthy segment on it, he would use someones body to house himself and then the body would begin to break down with use and he would move to a new one, thats after all the big reason for him wanting sasuke. Its not really edo tensei because he didnt ressurect and control the bodies, he inhabited them and i think he is inhabiting kabuto, and slowly winning control over him now. Kabuto was always better with ET yes, but oro is far stronger than kabuto could hope to be, and will win out and boom, oro is back.
