Is it possible to switch eyes

I don't think so. I mean if it was that way why wouldn't they have done that? .-. but I dunno.. This has been discussed before and some say yes and some say no. Me ahh I dunno and don't really think about it much....

I also thought of this back when Tobi first talked about the EMS. I really do wonder why no one had thought of just giving each other one eye each so they both could have lived... oh well

He's asking why two people with MS dont just give each other one eye to the other (so they both end up with one eye on one side, and an empty eye socket on the other). This way both brothers live and they both get EMS

No. The EMS is not barelly the other's sharingan, it's a combination of the user's and the other's.

not 100 percent but remeber when sasuke fought itachi the demon had 4 eye slots so i assume u need 4 eyes to get it but no there are no real fact to back it up

Chapter 386. The manga number is ingrained in my mind due to the vast number of times people have asked this question.

And at Necron, more like several dozen times than 3. I've seen the question asked at least 10-20 times and considering how few threads we each end up seeing, i'd be willing to bet its been asked hundreds of times.

Bottom line? You can't switch. You need the 4 to make 2 EMS... hence the combined pattern.
