i wasnt completely sure as to what section.. or even possibly who to write this to... so ive stuck it in here n if its in ong place.. sorryfor starters

but basically.. i was wondering if theres another way atlooking to change the way in which we can progress through the different ninja rankings?

i know personally ive been on the site for 2 years roughly.. but atm.. im still under 200 posts.. and i know there are alot of other memebers out there who have been on the site for a very long time...

so basically i was wondering if instead of just using the 'post' system to progress... couldnt there also be a system implimented for the amount of time people actually stay and use this site

4 me i tend to just come on.. read through threads n quite often ill seepeople exppressing things that i would say so i dont see the point in posting myself....

i just thoguht it could be a way of improving..would love to hear thoughts.. mostly from the...'higher ups' but also from the general nb fan base

If it would be on time then u could just let NB open all the day and that would be cheating and boring

I agree with MejKl3. I actually think the current system is pretty legit. It make you actually try to contribute your 2 cents into everything to rank up. Besides rank only matters when you are RPing IMO.
Other than the RP system your rank has no pull in anything, nor does it mean you are better than anyone else. It just means when it comes to RP you are able to learn and use jutsu up to a certain rank. If your only posting and stuff I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm pretty sure this system is maintainable.

But if you want to increase your post count quickly, why don't you just go to the Forum Games?

that's what I've come to realize, if you try and contribute your post count will increase. Just try and contribute to the threads you visit, even if your views or opinions have already been said, it never hurts to respond to someones post with "I agree with this, "X" would be cool to see if "Y" happened". The posts will come, just gotta keep posting

hmmm, not a bad idea. I'll run by a few other people and see what they say.

I think he's talking about how long youve been a member, not how long you stay online at any given time.

Actually I think his way may be more legit than the current. In our current system, you can join and spam nonstop till S-ranked which lets you learn all the elements. It doesnt promote anything but spamming in the forum games. His alternate way rewards people who have supported the site as it grew.

note: I mean this purely from an RP perspective. rank doesnt really mean anything anywhere else on the site.

basicallywhat im say is.. obviously.. ye you do get new members who ye.. they do come on n just put stuff like.. i agree.... do that a thousand times.. u deserve to have your rank?.. i dont think so.. personally i like to put something with meaning and effort down

ye i mean in terms of how long youve been on the base... end of the day.. in naruto verse you would have to put in time.. n effort.. cos of work etc.. i dont get to see that many decent threads.. n by time i get to them.. like i say.. sum 1 9/10 put what i already feel n i dont think saying agree or plus rep for eg is a gd way of contributing

n tbh.. if your not at least a little bit interested in the rp side of nb.. theres not alot of point in having an account.. sure theres the whole community side of things... but perhaps ... could do with to kind of users accounts on the site when you sign up.. 1 for those who wish to use the p system and those who just want to chat... just something imple like a little tick box that if you click doesnt bother with points n rank etc

I would personally love this, as I've been a member for longer than most, yet have less posts.

What about people who register, stay for a week and then won't return for another year? Then they come back and get a high level. Idea sounds good to me but average online time should be taken in consideration aswell, infact.. the topic creator's average online time isn't even 5 minutes.

well what about those people who register for a week and spam 2400 posts? Why should they get to roleplay at high level yet the other guy cant? Most people who roleplay, wont create an account and let it sit. If you are only here for a week, chances are that if you dissapear for a year then you arent comming back. Its not like you would be a kage after 6 months or something.

Online time isnt a real consideration of how long someone spends on the site. I actually spend a lot of time offline if I just want to browse stuff. Just because you arent online doesnt mean you arent looking at the site.

Besides, the way I'm envisioning it, you would have to be a member for longer than a year to get a high level

thinking of a way you might be able to impliment it...

a way of working it out would be to say you get 2 'post points' per day youve been on the nb.. so if youve been with the site for say 100 days for eg...if..n when the possible change takes place your automatically awards 200 'post points' for the 100 days youve spent on the site...

after that could do it where your able to go to the bank everyday to claim your daily 2 'post points' but unless you actually go to the bank you wouldnt get your points for that day... that way people who do just create a profile n disappear for a year cant cheat the system
