susanoo would be countered by susanoo.
There is nothing in itachi's arsenal that can penetrate sasuke's susanoo, and same with sasuke. The battle will end up with both of them holding their susanoos, but the difference is sasuke can hold his much longer than itachi can. Sasuke wins.

Lol I don't think any respectable ninja (Itachi, Kakashi, Raikage, etc.) would lose to freaking kunais xd
Anyways, I think Itachi could beat him if he wasn't sick, but if sick, Sasuke's got a pretty good shot at this.

1st I would like to point out Itachi was sick and dying from a disease, he used medicine to prolong his life. Itachi's stamina wasn't at its fullest and he had no killing intent in his fight with Sasuke. Kirin did nothing to Itachi since he said he would be done for without Sasunoo. Itachi Sasunoo has a shield that blocks all attacks and a sword that is said to seal everything it strikes. Plus we haven't seen all of Itachi's jutsus that he copied threwout his time in Konoha or Akatsuki. It would be a tough fight EMS Sasuke vs MS Itachi (edo tensei), Itachi would suffer from the MS effects like Sasuke and normal attacks (kunia or shuriken) wouldn't hurt him. P.S Itachi can put out Amaterasu which is what Sasuke sword or arrow is made of and holds in the other hand. Also Itachi was already going blind and that's how Sasuke hit him with his shuriken.

I just actually got done rewatching the whole Sasuke versus Itachi part and I have to say Itachi was again pretty obviously holding back. Sasuke walks in and Itachi subliminally asks this nigga if he basically learned, sorry I'm high, anything at all, then he had to start making him drain his chakra so he could get that snake nigga Orochimaru out, which he did of course, but when the fight started Itachi was fast as a bitch and it wasn't no clone sitting in the chair, the wind he created clearly points out it was him moving, he was behind him slick as shit all calm like -.- what's up bitch then pretty much slammed that nigga out like he was still the big brother throwin' him around the ninja living room. Basically Itachi was on a whole different level than Sasuke, he already had Susanoo mastered before Sasuke even know what the **** a Mangekyo Sharingan was, was sick and not even trying to kill Sasuke, he was just just lookin' out for him, and basically the whole fight was him seeing how much he improves + trying to get Oro out and give him a gift, that's it. Sasuke would get murdered, not even Itachi fanboyin', it's just some obvious stuff.
