Why are you atheists/agnostic?

When people get food they thank God thinking God has blessed them (does he not treat us all equally?). When black people starve to death they say God does not help people. Why would you thank someone who did nothing for it?

He blesses all who come to him willingly, walk in him, believe in him, and those who do his will. He will greatly welcome anyone who comes to him, but you can only receive the fruit once you have been grafted in to the vine aka once you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, and God as your God.

I simply don't believe in things that are illogical, makes no sense or things I have no proof of. There is no solid proof that god exists, if there was one, everyone would belive in god- everyone would be sure there is one, but there is no such proof, hence why I don't belive in god.

Btw if I read few pages of arguments here, it is mainly those who belive that have stupid comments, they don't help their cause at all, but they are not smart enough to know that they should refrain from posting here at all.

Also few things- people saying that things can't be created from nothing- in vacuum particles pop-out from nowhere and then disappear all the time and there is still much we do not know. Also you are saying that something cannot come from nothing but your god can? totaly makes sense...

God rewards many different ways than in the material way. It was also told that we will be prosecuted for believing in God its a sacrifice we all must face. We also live knowing that the riches we have in heaven far grander that we could ever imagine. That the pain and suffering of this world is temporary

Okay, I will put this simple as possible. Not everyone believes in God/Jesus and people that jam this stuff down other throats bother me a lot. Just stop.

If he does not reward in material way why thank him for material stuff. I guess you made a mistake there. Maybe you meant believing?

ok one of my reasons why is because im aware that there is ppl in the world that are in need of food and i use to be one of them but before thanking him i also pray for the ppl that are in need so that in the same way i am blessed they are blessed to some day.

there was a barber that said to a man God doesnt exist!!
the man said to the barber why you say such thing??
the baber says well if God exist why there is suffering and ppl starving??
and the man didnt respond got his hair cut and leave
moments later the man returns to the barber shop with a guy with very long hair and facial hair
and the man says to the barber the barbers dont exist!!!
the barbers says why you say such thing??
the man says because if they exist then there shouldnt be ppl with very long hair and facial hair
and the barber responds well we exist its that ppl dont come to us so we cant do something about it
and the man says thats exactly why theres much suffering and starving ppl because they dont come to him to let him deal with the problems they have.

I left church a while ago and I have read bible a lot. It is just a funny book. And why pray for better world when he won't end the suffering?

I did sometimes I say things in my head and they don't always get put down when I'm typing them. What I meant to say he doesn't always reward in a material way he can still grant you, your material wants, but the material things aren't everything. and I meant to use knowing there

asking people too read, gather wisdom, an decide whether too believe or not will not help your cause buddy.. if i was religious, i would urge people not too read the bible if they are agnostic, that archaic book is full of horrible atrocities and immoral behavior.. its the best instrument for disbelief in my opinion..

The reason why I am atheist is because I want to embrace the world as a whole. Im not going to bias myself and stick to one religion, because then you wouldn't have alot of tolerance for other religions out there. Coming from buddhist roots, I stopped practicing after my grandmother passed away because it reminded me too much of her. That was until I was 12 and now a few years later, Ive grown to tolerate every religion out there and embrace the positive sides of what our mythology has to offer. It keeps me at peace.

you said theres lots of christians there who had given everything they had and they help they make a difference i know ppl die still but some live is like fighting cancer theres help but some die some live but not all of them dies
