Itachi Uchiha vs. Deidara!!

Deidara fought Itachi, but that was MANY years ago, before he even invented C4, or C0, and before training to fight Itachi someday. Now that he's developed C3, C4, and C0, and a Doton Clay Clone to counter Genjutsu, plus a quick scope to counter Genjutsu with even more resistance, this fight won't be THAT one sided, now would it?

Location of Fight: Forest where Sasuke fought Deidara

Starting Distance: 100 meters

Condition: All healthy, Itachi is at his prime strength along with Deidara, and Deidara has his sack of clay fully loaded.

Restrictions: none

Scenario: Deidara takes flight, and Itachi activates MS.

So who wins and why?

his explosions may harm itachi but the use of a tsukuyomi or a susanoo swipe should kill him/ or his bird clay then he can just amaterasu his pouch so he can't use anymore jutsu xd

I mean, let's say Deidara actually breaks Tsukoyomi... What can he do agaist Amateratsu? Itachi has to barely look at the guy, and "poof" he's in flames... And, Susano would guard him from the explosions... Deidara is good, but has no chance against Itachi... Deidara is a Jonin level, wile Itachi is Kage+

Itachi, he's on a whole other level than most Akatsuki members. He has Amaterasu, which he can use, or Susano'o.

I wouldn't say he will win easily though. Deidara is an akatsuki for a reason.

I say Itachi with 70% difficulty.

Do you know what you're saying? Raiton is the perfect counter to Deidara's techniques, hence your DBZ logic is invalid. It's like saying that Deidara>Sasori just because he lost to Chiyo and Sakura. You can't use A>B>C=A>C logic, especially if you're comparing a one sided fight due to an element disadvantage

Like many above me have mentioned, Susanoo can easily block all explosions and uses long range attacks, Amaterasu is another great weapon Itachi can use, and then there's all his Genjutsu techs. I'm a fan of Deidara but I don't see him winning this battle.

Actually 10 years ago. They recruited Deidara right after Orochimaru left the Akatsuki which was 10 years ago.
