I'm against any village specific boosts or restrictions. It just complicates a system that is already riddled with rules and restrictions. If that rule is still up somewhere, I'd like to get rid of it (given that the other RP Mods agree as well).

This rule was made to try and get people to join Sunagakure at a time were only Rei and a few others (i think...don't remember the members) were members of it. It was created long ago to try and balance out the system. That way, if people wanted a puppet bio they'd have to join Suna.

It's not in use. However, as its not in use i think it should be removed. Useless things only confuse the already complicated rule system ^^

I personally think it would add more variety to the entire system, should the village system be revived. Instead of everyone being like "omg konoha has scorps and izuna i wanna join" people would hopefully choose based on what sorts of advantages they like, and if they don't like it then they can swap to something else. They wouldn't have to be huge advantages, but there could be some perks to joining certain villages.

I'm pretty sure this rule has been void for a while. I remember asking Cali about it and he said we didn't apply it.

This has been brought up before and the rule has indeed been voided. It was brought into play during a time where Sunagakure was almost empty.
My question is: Why don't you just delete that rule to avoid any further misunderstandings? Instead of having it laying around where someone might stumble over it and, obviously, take it into account when creating their bio.
Funny how we all scream at the new people to read the rules, when there are old, voided rules lying around

ot:

suna = only village for puppet use , gold dust and iron sand use along with sand swift and scorch
kiri= only village for hidden mist jutsu and other KG that originated there
iwa = the only village for camouflage jutsu and other KG that originated there
konoha = only village that get to us aburame and nara and other clans ( except uchiha and hygua )
kumokagure = you have an OP raikage, an overgrown octopus and some smexy people...you don't need anymore powerups.

This would make things a little more interesting. Instead of everyone turning up with the same bios all the time.
