Well, surprisingly enough i never did one of these threads. Lol
Well, my real name is Pedro and i'm 26 years old and i've been a member of NB since 2008 (i'm member number #3623). I'm Portuguese and live on the mainland although i'm actually from Açores, a little arquipelago in the middle of the Atlantic. I lived there until i was 18, at which time i came to the mainland to take my degree and have been living here since then.
I like Cars and car related things although i dislike (very much so) Tunning in general. I like to read, mostly Fantasy books like The Inheritance Cycle and obviously manga. Currently i'm on par with Naruto (i've been reading it since the year after it was released in Japan...don't remember exactly) and Fairy Tail while trying to get up to date on One Piece (currently on chapter 70...i know, i'm like 10 years late...lol). I dropped Bleach however. I like to go out and have fun like everyone else.
I like to cook and people say i'm pretty good at it. I like gadgets and hi-fi while not being an actual expert on neither.
Hum...oh music! I listen to many genres but my favourites are Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Our Lady Peace, Metallica, Bush, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cranberries, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Audioslave, etc etc. Recently i've been gravitating more to Florence and The Machine and Adele with no particular reason.
Gaming wise i like RPG and FPS but i'm a GT5 fan. I have a PS3 but i've been neglicting it lately. I fear that a divorce may happen at any moment. lol
When it comes to films, i like Fantasy, Terror/Suspense and Sci-Fi. I'm a huge...ubber Star Wars fan (if you haven't noticed yet...lol). I like LOTR but i'm not a fan. Avatar was cool but mostly because of the visual and audio experience than the contents. I love older movies like the first alien films. However, i also like to laugh albeit with a more refined humor than generally used in hollywood comedy. I liked the Matrix triology albeit the only really good one was the 1st one. I don't care that much about drama films or war fillms or even most action films. I find most of those empty in content although there are exceptions. Animation wise i liked Kung Fu Panda a lot as i did madagascar and the Ice Age. Shrek...meh. Dunno why. Tangled was awesome mostly because of the horse. Lol.
Television wise...hum... How i met your mother, Big Bang Theory, A Modern Family, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Grey's anatomy, Mythbusters, etc With television i'm not too picky. Just don't give me Jersey Shore, Big Brother, Secret Story or any other similar show and i'm good. I don't see news on the television as i find the news very unrealistically dispicted there. I read the news.
Sportswize i'm more of a motorized sports fan than other sports. Living in a futebol driven country (reall football..."soccer") i do like it but i don't make such a big deal of it.
Random things i like: walking around in the hystorical center of the city, driving around with no destination, laying on the beach just doing nothing other than smelling and hearing the sea, eating (LOL huge italian food fan), exploring my country with my friends, and much much much more.
NB wise i'm a sensei since...december. I've been active in the forum for about a year as before i only read stuff and discussed things on the manga forum. I like the base and it keeps me busy on my free days, keeping my mind active and busy. And...thats it... lol ^^
