I'd have Jiraiya in every fight outside of Nagato/Pain, and that's only if he didn't have knowledge. If he has knowledge, Jiraiya in every single fight. It's kinda iffy on Tobi because we still aren't quite sure of everything he can do or what his weakness is.

I doubt he could beat Pain with or without Knowledge, Naruto Barely beat him and Naruto had perfected sage mode and released the nine tails,
Jiraiya doesn't have a tailed beast that can beat up on pain while he takes a rest, if it weren't for ninetails naruto would've lost that fight

I don't see how Jiraiya could've got past deva path's shinra tensei, he wasn't fast enough, also he doesn't have as much stamina or chakra as naruto has and wouldn't have been able to damage him and make him waste a lot of his chakra which naruto did with the nine-tails, It could simply be a mere overestimation of Jiraiya's abilities, link me to where u read this?

This is a different translation than the one I remember reading, the one I read said he wouldn't have won. not sure which is correct, but it gets the point across regardless. And checking Naruto Wiki, it also has it stated that Pain said Jiraiya would have won if they didn't have the secret.

I dunno either, but Jiraiya managed to take down 3 of them without any knowledge at all, so I wouldn't put it past him with knowledge.

Well, Jiraiya himself stated that Animal, Preta and Human paths are strong enough to kill him even in SM. Later in manga we could see that Deva alone was able to own SM Naruto and his bunch of frogs. Hinata and KM saved his ass then.
