[Debate] Women and Men are equal

Elaborate.

I will give you as an example the classic one : fixing whatever is wrong with the car.
When it breaks down, they don't take it to the mechanic, they ask their bf/husband to do it, and if he talks back and say do it yourself, they say "I am a woman, I don't know of this stuff".
And yet, I see women taxi/bus drivers. I have even seen a woman truck driver.
Some men wouldn't know how to make the car, but they would still look at it and figure something out. This is a classic example, but it is the most understandable IMO.

that ain't proving men are dominating every sector e.g economic sector, medical sector etc. Women need to get up and stop being a birthing machine then you can talk about equality.

WOW do people still think like this? In the UK females easily out perform males in education (google it if you don't believe it)

In my work place (I work for a large national organisation in a corporate function) most of the management including senior management are women. I am a management grade and in no way consider myself inferior to a male but nor do I consider my male colleagues inferior to me

They are afraid that they will damage something instead of fixing it. Some jobs may really be physically demanding which they really cannot do well. Some may know how still may not want to chip their nails and spoil the manicure.

The women who drive buses and taxis are trained for the job first. As for men- yeah- but then those guys talk about cars. lol.. they hear terms and are often more aware of the parts. It's not like a guy who has no idea about machine would suddenly figure out something a woman can't under similar conditions. I have seen such guys who didn't. ONe of them offered to start my bike which wouldn't start by simple kick one day. He tried to do it with lots of enthuasism but without pressing the clutch.

I have an Uncle. I will shoot myself before asking his help for any techinical know how. His wife, my aunt is the one I would go.

The main difference often is that a woman may bluntly say that she doesn't know if she is in doubt. Men try to deny if they are lost and missed the road by miles.

So it's not about women and men should be equal but the fact that they can't be, 'cause women assume a certain position in many aspects of life.

As for the rest: Thank you for a posting a very shallow and single dimentional overview over the whole gender eqality debate.

Most women prefer to have a superior partner so that they can fulfill his demand to be seen as superior, easily. Makes it less complicated and they don't have to deal with a frustrated guy who is burdenned with the thought of being inferior in every way. Those guys tend to be very annoying.

Those are just women/yours excuses for the fact that you don't want or can't be equal with men. Plus you just didn't rule out any of my points, you just strenghtened my belief of woman. They say one thing and think the other. You want be equal but you don't really wan't be. Or even can't.

I'm not a sexist. But this is the world we live in and most women just go along with it and live by the old traditions. Then the next thing is they demand equality but....no.

No. Men are Superior to Women like it or not. Intelligence wise were equal. Physically were superior. Usually were more rational thinkers meaning we don't base things on emotion as much as girls. The only emotions that I think really affect men most times are pride and anger. Women do live longer than us on average though, wonder why, but not by much?

lmao. women and men aren't born equal. actually ill take it further and say nobody is born equal nor do they develope equally, some men will be stronger than the rest some women will be stronger than guys. We all have our strengths and weaknesses n to say men are generally good at one thing n women are too is kinda half truth there are many people and places that will go against the majority of thinking and stereotypes.

We are all born with our differences and individual talents.

It sure is a stereotype if looking it on certain point of view..but most women are like that. And I don't talk about money. I'm talking about wanting to have a stronger *** besides you and him doing things you can't or don't want to do 'cause women settle for the part of weaker ***.

i am a guy.. i think women are superior in a sense that they are the 1s that give birth and do 90% of reproduction.... not just that but men are yes superior in mainly physical stuffs , but women are more of the behind the scenes masterminds if you know what i mean
