You read what you want? Tell me then why Sasuke talked about Gaara defense being still alive if Gaara was the one who attacked him...that doesn't make sense.

Hehe, no. Just no. Go back and double check douche. Don't use NB Manga for proof either cause the translation is wrong. I am holding the book and it says "You block my enton so effectively....I guess your absolute defence is still going strong."

Gaara was defending against Sasuke's attacks. Also, even if he was attacking, the point was that the techniques can collide.

That fight bothered me, as it was only half of the fight that should have occurred. When Gaara is unconscious Shukaku takes over.

Doesn't mean that Gaara didn't lose. That loss also doesn't mean that Gaara isn't a beast.

If the sand was still active then why didn't it keep attacking?And it hasn't sense yet.If he stopped the offense of the sand,why would he call it defense? Sorry,but no.It is called absolute defense because the sand protects him no matter what.And you can see the sand is around Gaara,Kankuro and Temari.He was defending theirselves,and the flames are only on the sand that was protecting Gaara because Sasuke focused on him.Before that you can see Sasuke doing something(like preparing to attack)after Gaara took his sand out.This would explain why Sasuke said he guarded himself with enton, because he didn't allow Gaara to use his sand.
