What I don't get are people saying that this week's chapter is mediocre. I mean, look at Bleach, there was barely any dialogue. Naruto? Did we need to see everything from Part 1, for Kishi to remind us what Naruto was before the time skip?

I mean really. OP sucks for having too much dialogue ... don't read reading materials if you don't like to read!

Anyway, I found this chapter nice & refreshing to start the Year off.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just got the idea that Fish Tiger was a former Yonkou?
Nah I'm wrong he wasn't, old Majesty dude was just thinking Jinbei would have an issue serving under someone else besides Fish Tiger.

I think it's great that there was a two year timeskip and the world has changed so much. Now that they are leaving Fishman Island, One Piece is at a stage where it can't fail. Every chapter is potentialy epic and badass. There's so much to look for, unlike some other manga that I won't mention.

One piece is really great at showing independant character development and not cramming it into your head fast. Every person has changed, in style, attitude, confidence. They even go the extra mile giving certain people different laughs. Oda knows what he is doing, giving us people we can also relate with. For example; i am a turtle lion. I therefore relate to him.

Well said! There are some things people don't notice until its pointed out like this. There are quite a few OP characters that I can relate with.

Sanji, Luffy, Aokiji, and Mihawk for instance.

easily over 10 years now, and it's only gotten better. They have much more to look forward too. They also still add in new stuff to pick up on. Oda also obviously does his research. Every name, Character, Ability, and characteristic has to intertwine with some figure of either the past, or in his culture. I think that is so amazing.
