No, I don't think so. Banbutsu Sōzō is basically imagining something using Yin chakra and then breathing life into it with Yang chakra. It's not as simple as imagining something or someone dead and that instantly happening.
The Shinigami is literally the God of Death.
I doubt a mere mortal could just wish it gone. Mind you, a very powerful mortal that was first to work out how chakra worked, what you could do with it and was the founder of the ninja arts. But still, a mere mortal.

the only 3 shinigami with power in so6ps league is aizen , yamamoto and ichigo ( final getsuga) id say that yama loses but aizen and ichigo would win with extreme difficulty

Don't know if shinigami can be killed, but if oro can resist the shinigami's pull, then the SO6P might be able to beat it at tug-of-war.
Nah, that was actually Sarutobi's shortcoming. It had nothing to do with the Shinigami.

Well, calling it a shortcoming would be wrong. The man was old, used up nearly all his chakra and was stabbed through the chest with a sword. He too, was on the verge of dying.
