Luffy defeated Arlong, who was partially a Swordsman. No ordinary swordsman will "easily" defeat Luffy, or defeat him at all. And with Zoro and Sanji backing him up, those 5 alone will be enough to enter Grand Line. It is nice of you to have that much respect for the Grand Line, it means the Baratie and Arlong Arcs had a good effect on you, but Don Krieg lost to the Grand Line because he wasn't a good pirate, Luffy is a great pirate. Zeff was in the Grand Line for a whole year, and don't expect him to have a huge huge pirate crew.

That's what I said, they are not weak, we established that, but they are obviously not strong enough yet. There is a path, a journey that they must follow until they can reach the end of the Gand Line. They are not strong enough yet, but they are strong enough to stand on their own, and with each island they go through, and each obstacle they defeat, they get stronger. Did you not notice how stronger Luffy and the other have gotten since the story started? The Luffy that defeat Arlong was stronger than the Luffy that defeat Don Krieg, which was stronger than the Luffy that defeated Captain Kuro, and so on. Why would you think he or they'd stop growing after they entered the Grand Line, if anything they'd only grow even faster.

So in I sense, I think I get what you're saying, Luffy and the other are no where near the level they need to be to defeat all the enemies that will stand on their way (Smoker, Mihawk, etc) but they will grow, and hopefully when the time comes, when they have to face those enemies, they will be at that level and then they will surpass them.

and yes about dragon...he may be one of the strongest characters in op....
