how to make a popular animated sig/avy or whatever(tutorial)!!!

it seems to be pretty popular to have an animated sig or avy so i decided to make a tut. sorry if its not very good:flaw:but what the heck, its the thought right?xd i used gimp and animation shop 3 to create this but im sure you can use other softwares

for my second outcome, i just got the logo of the anime, pasted it, then enlarged it on the next layer and then made it back to the original size.
